You guys all realize... being a staff member has it's upsides... and it's downsides... a lot of downsides...
Being a moderator is a JOB! You know that thing where you work really hard all day and then get money for your hard work? Yeah, that's what it is, minus the money part.
I can see why some people might want to be moderator- you get to help the site, and if you truly love the site, that's something you'd get pleasure in doing.
But by no means is becoming a moderator simply an increase of status which makes others look up to you- know, it's a job, and you have to work. |

I was thinking the exact same thing as Broozer. Anyways, My thread isn't going well right now. Maybe next time I'll be ready to be moderator.
Anyways, best of luck to whoever gets the staff positions. It probably won't be me this year.
But then again, things could change. Maybe I'll have enough supporters next week. My threads only been up for, let's say, an hour. Things could change. |
