With the launch of our new weekly CONTENT SPOTLIGHT on YouTube, everyone now gets a chance to have their projects featured on our official YouTube channel, shown off every tuesday!
You can submit anything, ranging from graphics, tools, sprites and music to even entire hacks. Videos and screenshots are both welcome, .spc files for music. Simply PM Dan or Hobz with all your screenshots and videos!
If you'd like your hack to be featured but can't record a video yourself, feel free to submit a link to your hack thread with screenshots and a working .bps patch with the levels you want people to see. Dan or Hobz will record footage for you, then.
Please go ahead and subscribe to SMW Central to keep up with other people's projects as well!
After a handful of weeks of planning and a few days of discussion and hard work with the new people, the Public Relations team is very glad to announce the return of SMW Central's social media!
We've got some nice things planned - you can learn more in this thread. And as always, we're open to suggestions as well.
We haven't been giving our official social media pages - Twitter, Facebook and YouTube - nearly as much attention as they need, and that really needs to change. A thread has been opened for discussion about them, as well as to hire new people to specialize into taking care of these accounts.
Although the official VLDCX scheme has been unforced for everyone, the contest is still running and you have over 6 weeks to finish your entry. Don't forget to periodically check out this for the latest VLDCX news and information.
