| News: HOLY HOLLYWOOD SCIENCE! |
| Reaching 10000 registered users has caused a digital binary overflow in the primary user counting buffer! This overflow leaked beyond our dimension into the mataphysical multiverse medium and created a rift in spacetime, forming a passageway to an alternate reality. After some brief exploring, the passageway seems to lead to an alternate timeline version of SMWC which was considerably less successful than SMWC in our universe. I would study it further, but that place creeps me out. |

| News: SMWCP - Deadlines |
The level confirmation deadline for An SMW Central Production has been set! If you have confirmed your level in the appropriate thread, you're good to go. If you have reserved a level and the person you are taking over from has NOT confirmed that they are working on their level, you're in. Check this table for a list of who is working on what. Green levels are completed; blue levels are in progress.
Note that the deadline for all level submissions will likely be in early May, so you have the entire month of April to finish your level(s). If you have taken on a few and feel you may need more time, we might extend it if needed.
Thanks again to all of you who have shown your support in this project. Let's make some magic. |

| News: Stuff |
First of all, the "Member of the Month" is going to be held off for a few months. There is simply too much going on here (level contest judging is being completed, SMWCP, etc) for that right now.
Secondly, on the topic of SMWCP, those who have signed up for a level last year have two more days to confirm they are still working on it. If you do not do this, the people who have reserved your level will get it.
Third of all, don't forget that the fourth C3 is at the beginning of May. That's only a month and x days away from the time of posting. You'd better prepare your sexy hack related stuff to show off! |

| News: Please stop with HTML abuse in profiles |
Namely, please stop putting in those images that move with the page and obscure things like the menus. The contents of the Bio field stay inside the Bio box in your profile page!
This isn't the first time I had to do this, but it's not as bad as last time.
Offenders will have their profiles edited or nuked.
Thank you! |

| News: SMW Central Production |
We'd like to try to get this going again, as we had a good start at one point before it sort of quieted down.
Please go to the forum here and read up about it. If you've claimed a level a while ago, you need to confirm you are still working on it by posting in the "Level Signup Confirmation" thread there, and then finish it! It's quite likely that there may be some level openings soon because of people not confirming their levels, so if you're still interested in doing a level or two for this, stop on by!
Remember, this is a giant collab project! Everyone's role, no matter how small, is vital to finishing this. If you think you can help out, please do so! |

| News: "Mods, please delete my 37 other hacks - this is the newest update" |
There seems to be a growing trend in users updating their hacks multiple times while they are waiting for them to be moderated.
Please do not submit your hack until it is REALLY READY to be moderated.
(e.g. Play through own your hack from start to finish; get some feedback from beta testers; test your IPS patch on a clean ROM to make sure it will work; make sure you didn't upload a ROM; don't submit your hack until you have made all the little changes you want to make; etc.)
Not only does it create unnecessary housekeeping for us hack moderators, it also makes it difficult for us to make sure we are playing the "REAL" version you want us to play.
Long story short - don't submit anything to the site until it is absolutely ready for others to view. Along with that, please make sure you are meeting the Hack Submission Guidelines. |

DEAR EVERYONE: Your post HEADER is only for HTML and CSS you are using for your post layout, NOT to put userbars, text and anything else you can think of that's not required for your post layout. Everything else besides your layout code must be put into your post footer (signature) or your layout will be nuked.
