WelcomeWelcomeWelcome PatPatPat & Other Announcements.

I would first of like to start my post by welcoming Patganster PatPatPat to the PR team. He will be helping out K3 and NB with coordinating upcoming contests and other events.

I would also like to congratulate antimatterhunter. He will now be taking over the ExGFX Group. Tahixham has decided to move on in life, but I would like to publicly thank him for all the hard work he did during the remoderation. He was an excellent team leader and its sad to see him go, however I am confident AMH and his team will be able to carry on and keep up with the great work in that section.

For the past few weeks, SMWC has kinda gone through a bit on an overhaul on the internal staff side of things. Staff members are now being held responsible for not doing what they were hired on to do in the first place. Too many people in the past got by doing the bare minimum (or nothing at all in some cases), and because of that, the site suffered. This new process I implemented has been in effect for a few weeks now, and I am fairly happy with the results so far. Files waiting in queue have dropped quite a bit, and staff members themselves (mostly on the ASM side of things) basically have less work to do due to the way the sections are now split up between them. This should also mean that once all the sections are caught up, files should no longer have to wait months to be moderated.
On that note, if you find any issues with files that have been submitted or are waiting to be submitted, please feel free to contact either me or one of the corresponding Team Leaders. The list can be found here

Thank you and have a great rest of your day.

Super Mario Bros: World-E Adventure by Yan

This little gem (probably to be big soon) is an SMB3 look alike acting to be some sort of extension of the original game. Despite it seeming to be "Just another SMB3 hack" so to say, it is one of the best SMB3 hacks I've seen in the making since Koyuki's own work. Make sure you give the thread a visit and leave some valuable feedback!

another one bites the dust
