Tip: Linear levels aren't necessarily a bad thing. After all, most official Mario levels are fairly linear.

No, we're thinking of a way we could implement a preview though.
Or the DS' weaksauce hardware, specifically an old crappy sub~100 Mhz ARM processor - bad - and tiny, tiny, tiny RAM.
I've seen extensions that bind MediaWiki's auth system to use phpBB accounts. Since this is custom, we need a custom extension for this.

but the phpBB one is seamless: log in with your forum account and you wikiexist.

Commie, why not make a full distro out of it.
Make one for 11.4 over this week and host it online.
Doing a tutorial on cracle VM and basic linux install for new poeple who are getting into computers.

I dont know what it is about 12.1 release, but my computer does not like it and it had some bugs going on with it when I tested it over xmas last year.

Sorry I took so long, I was busy with other things...

I prefer it to be an appliance of sorts: an appliance with tools designed to edit Super Mario World.

11.4? you can't make appliances with that anymore.

Also, you can try it out in a VM right in your browser: the testdrive is a little slow and there's no networking excepting SSH in and no audio.
And I could handle things like templates, skinning, etc.
I also want to have a constient, attractive style for other elements of the site. I'll be working on that too, once Kieran toggles a setting in the conf file...
The new Android gets his own pics
Stock ROM, Android 2.2, Archos 43. It's actually using a custom launcher and widgets, specifically Beautiful Widgets SuperClock 4x2 (and after I took the shot, I added togglers for WiFi and rotate) and GO Launcher EX.

Or maybe I don't know anything about computers.

Network speed factors != computer speed factors
SMWiki would be a better place to put it when it becomes active.
GCN: Pokemon XD
PC: Diablo 2
360: Halo 3: ODST
Wii: Mario Kart Wii
GBA/NDS/PS2: don't remember...

Not much of a gamer.
Don't. You get an underpowered, undercooled, overpriced PC running a shitty version of BSD.

you could try VMware though.
It sometimes fails to close. Open task manager, processeses, firefox.exe, end process tree.

Dude, L4D is some of the most fun I've had with co-op. It's simple yet challenging, balanced, and fun with friends, or in my case, family. It's one of the few games we can all enjoy.

Valve titles pretty much shine FPSes to diamonds. Also of great fun is TF2; my father enjoys that as well...
I find it behaves better for me; for a person who browses videos , the new video navigation on channels sucks less.

I really fucking loathe the thing at the bottom though.

Oh yeah? Lately Sekai's been having trouble with multiple downloads... that's the name of my laptop (and yes, I did nickname it). Half the time, downloads would finish prematurely and thus result in an "unexpected end of archive" when the file's opened... it blows.

#w{=(}

I've been mostly forced to use my desktop PC "Rin" to download multiple files...

Wireless networking can drop with low signal, use ethernet or get a better signal somehow.

Also, network names?

My actual PCs are named after Buffy characters, (buffy, willow, giles) and my virtual machines are named after engines. (firepower, windsor, northstar)
Apple since 1997 is too busy making fashion accessory computers dumbed down to appliances rather than making good computers.

(making upgrades almost impossible)

Almost always, a custom built computer actually makes it easier to upgrade.

Like I said, you could use Windows in a virtual machine like in VMware or VirtualBox, or Boot Camp, essentially turning your shiny thing into a PC that costs a grand.

Or WINE, but it's schizo and even worse on Macs.
Because any memory, let alone Flash, was expensive as fuck at that time. Now 2 GB modules are dirt cheap.
I always prefered keyboards for emulation, provided I have my custom layout scheme.

For actual control, 360 controls. PS# controllers have crap ergonomics and give me blisters and the GC controllers lack buttons.
