Well since not a lot of progress is being shown by others, I've redone my Title Screen theme with a new rhythm and concept.

COLLAB 2 - Title Screen / The Trumpet and the Violin

Somewhat inspired by the concept of a Music Battle, which my take being a Trumpet vs a Violin. Don't get the wrong idea though, this is not a boss theme at all, since it's more light hearted and not intense. If you like this theme, I could remix this theme for whoever the main boss is in this hack, but that's your choice if you want me to try doing so. This is actually my longest port from scratch at the moment, so that's some bit of trivia for you there. How do you like this theme, anyway?

You should be ashamed of yourself for such an awful pun.

In all seriousness, I definitely like where the levels are going so far. Also challenging levels that involve sprites and not munchers or cramped level design? *Approved* The only issue I see is the slanted pipe not being blocked off on the bottom; unless the cape is nowhere to be seen, you'll likely go through the bottom of it, causing some weird interactions. You're A-okay, otherwise.

There's also the SEVEN deadly sins, so the number 7 is all over the place even outside of video games.

I also know that the number 3 is also used quite a lot.

Could you guys recommend me a Baritone Saxophone kind of like this? You may also remember this instrument from the general list of midi instruments, but any good recommendations would be awesome.

I don't do that silly percentage thing, but I work out of order when I have a great idea I want to poll off early so I don't forget it later. Because my hack is 1/3 done (The second half and the extra content), I sort of want to at least set up certain things earlier so it's easier in the long run, while designing the levels in order.

A Castle Theme [S]

Yes you're seeing this correctly, I actually made a song using two samples. Mostly a vanilla song otherwise, but I didn't really need much samples since it sounded awesome to begin with. I've also thrown in a bit of ASDR to the mix as well just for kicks. I'll be using this in a secret project of mine, so don't expect a release until later on. Anyway, how do you feel about the song, as well as the samples I used?

The melting blocks caught my interest, considering I actually like those blocks. Luckly there's a reset door, considering the fact that it's easy to screw it up if you're not careful (of course, it depends if it's the "shatter blocks" or the actual Ice blocks).

Have actual scary sh*t come after you, like SA-X from Metroid Fusion. Buildup and jump scares are always nice too.

I think it has to do with the code of the
Boss Bass
and AMK placing the death theme in a different spot. I'm not an ASM guy, but try finding 1DF8, 1DF9, 1DFA, and 1DFB in the ASM code (Those hex numbers are a list of SFX and music... you want to find out what's the music, since I can't remember which is which), and you should find a double digit number that represents the song used for the old death theme (you can check by matching it to the song playing in LM's music options). If you want specific instructions... can't help you out.

Not sure if it's the ASMer's fault, but the Skeeters seem to be... "in" the water a bit too much. As for everything else, really like the pipe graphics, although the bend tiles kinda "cut" the lighting if you know what I mean, but I don't truly have any suggestions for that (I suppose you could look at the menu graphics on this site, and try working with the lighting a bit).
