I think that you guys should make the boss really huge and it moves layer 2) because at the end... if people played the whole hack they wouldn't like a 5-10 minute boss they would be expecting greater.
Seriously though, the boss needs to be super awesome, I know I'm not making a level (-_-) but it's smwcp2 not a little choco hack that took about 2 months. but yeah that's IMO.

Here's my idea.....
The head will be a glass dome with norveg in it(Transparency)
EDIT: if the boss will have a shoot em up phase then you should have a mode 7 shoot em up area over 3d water. or whatever would go in that area...

I made a boss from this tutorial, it inserted it, you cannot jump on it or touch it it just walks through you... immamelia told me to remove the JSR after The suboff screen command, i did and the sprite moved and walked right off screen any help?
