So that was it? Not a new site, but a complete wipe of the forums and users?

It's hard to tell if he was actually going to post something or leave us to figure it out ourselves.

So, what was the story on Stag anyway?
I heard he was hired to do the java that banned users, but then ended up abusing his power or something.

Boom's probably too busy fixing this to tell us what's going on, so we should try to figure it out for ourselves until then I guess.

There is one huge problem though:
Spammers like Fabian, Blarg, etc are not IP banned anymore, and can reregister and strike back.

I like today's update, it's nice to see how well it follows Twilight Princess.

I've applied the level names (easier) to my ROM and opened the hex editor, and found offset 98220 (98210 + 10 for level number) but it's just a two digit hex number. The tutorial tells me that I need to change it into the hex version of the letters for the level, but how can I make it longer than one letter if the offset is just a two digit hex number?

It had quite a few views though. 0_o

Mine's just an animated gif of my favorite game character.
Oh, and do you prefer my current avatar, or the old one I used:

If anyone would be willing to do this, I'd like an animated gif of the SA2 Tails, people have already made sprite sheets.

Believe, me, constructive comments are important, so your hack can grow and improve. That's why many post hacks here and hire beta testers.
Another big problem is your generic name: Super Boo World. It seems that nowadays, people just call their hacks Super ____ World, or Super Mario _____. I'm sure you can think of a creative name.
Lastly, anyone can make a Boo hack without your permission. Unless you, say, own the copyright for it or something, people can make it however they want.

It would be cool to see the Midna/Wolf Link spread attack, where anyone whose caught in it's radius would be struck, like in TP.

Put your ROM, along with addmusic.bat and the song TXT's in your C:\ drive.
Open command prompt and type "cd C:\" then do the addmusic smw.smc INIT.

For the last few months, I've been working on a hack that I haven't revealed to anyone, save for a few screenshots. So now I've finally decided to show it to you guys! I'm still keeping many things secret, and will update this thread periodically, but until then, enjoy!
Story: In this hack, I've set out to create a decent story. It isn't exactly epic, but it has a twist or two. ;) It goes like this...
It was said that before time, space, and reality even existed, there were four beings. Four of them that began to sculpt a world with their incredible powers, a world known as Elementia. Mountains uprooted from the sea, trees sprouted from the ground in seconds. And gentle, natural life was created to enjoy the land.
And so the four beings relaxed and maintained their pristine world for centuries. Elementia lay hidden from all other civilization. That is, until an unsightly ship and it's captain spotted the land.
After being thwarted by Mario yet again, Bowser had set off on his Koopa Cruiser to create his kingdom, one where he could build an army to attack his nemesis, Mario, once again. So he came to Elementia, and with his troops, began tainting the land.
Bowser and his followers built castles, destroyed trees and polluted the water as he set out to create his Koopa Kingdom. Yet when the four sages tried to stop Bowser, they found their power weakened. Their souls, which were tied to the land, had began to diminish, a candle burning out. With no other choice, they poured their souls into the four corners of Elementia, becoming switches that would lay dormant until awakened, awakened by a hero that they sent with their last remaining power.
Mario is sent out of the Mushroom Kingdom, and onto a hilltop in Elementia. Can he save the spirits and drive away Bowser before it's too late?
Gameplay: I've worked very hard on excellent level design. Though each world follows a specific theme, each level will feel different and unique. Worlds will be fairly large (8+ levels each) and will feature plenty of secret levels, some of which won't be accessible until the game is beaten.
Music: Elementia will feature as much custom music as I can get to heighten the experience.
Overworld: One of Elementia's more unique aspects will be in it's overworld. No, it's not RPG style, but from the start of the game, you can access four worlds, and more not too much later, two more will open up. You'll need to complete all the major ones to beat the game, but what order you choose to complete them is pretty much up to you.
GFX/ExGFX: This is the main reason why I'm hesitant to reveal the hack: as of now, there are no ExGFX. But do not worry, I promise the final version will contain ExGFX. I want to completely finish level/overworld design before ripping/creating graphics, so until then, please don't ask things like, "OMG WERE ARE EXGFXXXX?" The graphics will also be modified as well. Switch blocks will be SM64-style, for example. Also, expect quite a few graphics made by me that replicate Super Paper Mario FG's/BG's, if I can get it to work.
Demos/Release: Because of the ExGFX reasons I mentioned, I am most likely NOT making a demo. I'll most likely make a 3-world demo, but it will probably just be for beta testing purposes. As for the release of the full hack, I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing sometime early next year. I've been making good, but somewhat slow progress on this hack.
Other technical stuff: Elementia will feature custom blocks, and may or may not feature custom sprites depending on if it works with the music or not.
And finally, screenshots!

This is the Treetops. Some areas can't be accessed from the forest floor.

But if you reach the canopy, you can drop down to once-impassable areas!

Mirage Road. Sometimes what you want to see is only a mirage... Guess you'll need to find another way up there.

Is that a moon? NO! Don't fall for it!

Too late...

Wet-Dry Cavern. There are 3 water levels, and switching between them is the key. This is the dryest level.

Medium. You raise the levels through switches by the way.

And this is the deepest. Some areas can only be reached if the water is shallow though.

Midnight Heights. You might have to fall to the ground at some point.
One more thing! My first world is complete, and the second world is mainly complete, though I need to tweak some of the levels and the overworld. Mirage Road is the first level of the third world, which I have completed. Until then, check my sig to see the progress!
