Well, since there's no where else to really post this right now, I guess I'll post it here...
Linkin Park - What I've Done (1 verse + chorus)
spc
txt
I think it sounded pretty good, except for the guitar in the chorus is a little off...
Any comments/criticism appreciated

Mine's a blue and green square with palm trees and dots in it. (Honestly, how would you describe it?) It looks somewhat beachy to go with my layout. The only thing I don't like about it is it looks like something from Windows Vista... Eww... Windows Vista

Both versions of addmusic are in the Tools Section.
The New Version w/ level music and ow music is called "Level Music Editor"
The Old Version w/o level music is just called "Overworld Music Editor"
The only upside to using the old version I guess is that you don't get messed up stars/ p-switches

Hey Guys, just a quick question.
I've put the level music in my ROM, but how exactly do you actually use it in levels, because I looked around in LM and you can only use the regular songs... do you have to use a hex editor or something to set the other tracks for a level?

Ah, thx. I honestly think I'm blind.
But now I have another problem...
When I put in one of the new songs, when I play, I can't hear anything... not even sound effects. When I change it back to an old song I can hear it fine though.
Hmm... tried it on a different rom and it worked... weird

18) If the current graphical state of your hack is terrible, it might not be a good idea to post screenshots unless you want to get flamed.
19) Don't post a screenshot of the original overworld, enough said.

The variety. Super Mario World sends you on islands, on top of mountains, underwater, into forests, into castles, underground, into the sky, and everywhere else imaginable. And the gameplay is really close to my favorite ever.

Uggghhh... there's something wrong with the downloads (I see everyone noticed), it tries to download the word download... that's weird. Well, here, I'll post it up on here till this gets fixed.

I had the download.php thing again when I tried to put up my new SMW music creation/convertion tutorial up. It tries to download download.php not the actual file...

Just to let you guys know, tinymm and my tutorial both have working links on this site now, so you don't have to use the links in this thread to get them anymore.

Any level that uses custom music will have the pow/star keep playing. If you have level music in your hack, but your using one of the original songs for a level, you can use a pow/star in it.

I've got a creative request for you S.N.N.
I've got myself a really cool drum beat that I made, but I can't come up with a good melody for it...
So, I thought I'd ask you if you could try to come up with a melody/instrument line to go with it. Make it as elaborate or as simple as you want. If you keep it simple, I'll probably use it as an overworld song, but if you elaborate on it a lot I can make it a level song.
Here's the beat:

Note: The spc doesn't start at the beginning, the beginning is really after that short pause.

Hmm... that's what I thought too... I thought they just coded it backwards or something...

Hmm.... this part looks like a problem
16o7c4o6c32>
First, it states o7, which is already an octave too high, then it goes up another one to o8. I highly doubt this song will work with smw, because it goes down to o4 at some spots too. Most instruments sound like crap under o3, so if you change o4-o8 to o2-o6 it would work, but probably sound way too low and crappy. I suggest trying a different song.
note: that part is like 1/3 of the way through
