I'm working on making the image transparent. I've got most of the bg transparent now I'm just cleaning up around the edges.
It isn't great, but it should be acceptable.
Now that I think of it, I should have darkened the anti-aliasing rather than erasing it.

You probably put a < /div> in your header. You won't need that in the header so move it over to the end of your footer.

I had assumed you already had a < /div> at the beginning of your footer. Sorry.

Really love those bushes Masterlink.
@Auser: Those could use a little more shading, unless you're going for a more simplistic gfx style.

Been a while since I've stepped in the ExGFX showoff thread. Might as well show what I'm working on. Accidentally deleted my other GFX and can't recover them because they were on a flash drive.

A rip from the snow tileset in Densetsu no Stafy 3. I'm currently working on the slopes, and I don't know if I'll rip the bg yet.
Flint - Mother

Scrafty - Pokemon

Jack Krauser - Resident Evil

Sephiroth - Final Fantasy (I really only like him because of his epic theme)

Yuuka - Touhou
This topic doesn't seem as if it would lead to very in depth coversation. General Halo discussion would have probably been better. Anyways, my favorite would be Halo 3, as thats the only one I've played. I've never really been a huge fan of Halo. I don't even know the names of the games past 3, or really how many games there are now.

Ah, the Mother series. I've been a fan of Mother for quite a while, and I must say that it's definitely my favorite video game series of all time. In terms of story and gameplay Mother 3 is the best, but I somehow still love Mother 2/Earthbound the most. When I first played it, I was hit with some sort of nostalgia, despite the fact that I never played it as a child.
The story is well written and even the NPCs are interesting to talk to. One of my favorite things about the series is the music. It manages to capture the environment it's in. The music in Onett is upbeat and optimistic, which is fitting for a hometown, while the music in Saturn Valley is wacky to fit the strange creature that is the Mr. Saturn.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Mother 3. Pretty much everything about it is an improvement over Earthbound, but something about Earthbound makes it more interesting to me. As for Mother 1, it's a good game, but I haven't played that far into it, due to it's gameplay flaws.

Yes, there used to be updates on the newest submissions, though I don't recall if it was monthly.

It was stopped so the news wasn't littered with every file that came in.

it was a stupid idea littering the news with every single new file that pours into our database

It basically started as posting files that wouldn't be very popular otherwise, then it turned into linking every single new submission that came in, the opposite of the original purpose. I'm guessing that it was deemed useless to do such, as you could just search for GFX, music, ect. by date.

It became incredibly stupid when it went from being 3/5 of each file to like, 9 of one (i.e. graphics) and 1 of another (i.e. blocks). If every single file that is submitted gets dumped in the news post, then the purpose of it is sort of completely shot down.

Honestly, when I originally started it, the idea was more or less to put up a couple of new items from each section which could be considered files that would be otherwise under-utilized. For instance, if a song from Super Mario Bros. 3 and a song from some obscure game were submitted, I'd put up the more obscure one in hopes of more people finding it useful.

I started hacking around mid 2009 and lost all motivation as soon as I registered here. I used to hack every single moment I wasn't at school, but now I'll only have sudden bursts of motivation after playing something that gives me a cool idea, like Bit.Trip Runner. I might start hanging around the help and WIP forums more though, because I like to help people out and give criticism.
I don't know if dropbox executes JavaScript, but I do know it is disabled here. As for adding a random quote, you could host the PHP file on another site. I don't know much about sites for this, but I use heliohost for my PHP files.

Of course most of the references will be lost to those non-radbussites, but still it's pretty alright. You're quite descriptive in your storytelling, but the plot is a little weak, although I do give you credit for making a story about getting AIDS from TVtropes.
6.5/10
