I believe my first hack I've played was Super Demo World: The Legend Continues. I may be wrong, it's been years.

When the power is out I usually play my portable consoles (DS, 3DS, PSP) until I get bored, or watch movies on my portable DVD player.
If I'm not in the mood to watch movies or play games (or the batteries has run out) I'd just read by the window if it's daytime, candlelight if nighttime.

Wow. I feel old compared to you guys when I read your stories.
I learned about 9/11 during my second year of college (yeah, I'm THAT old). It was a sunny morning and I got my supplies together to head to class like every other day. However, the difference is that there were a lot of people in the TV lobby, which was VERY unusual for a morning, so I decided to drop by and see what's going on. That was when I realized what had happened. At first I thought it was a really elaborate "Final Destination" movie I have never heard of...
It was horrific and I felt really bad for all the poor victims and their families involved. I tried to get my mind off it by going to class anyway (which was clear across the campus). Of course, nobody was in the mood to actually teach or study today, so the professor let everyone go early. I walked all the way back to my dorm and went online to send a quick e-mail to my parents, and read up on the WTC incident.
I'm not sure what happened for the rest of the day (the classes were probably canceled or called early), but that's basically what happened to me that day.

No.
No.
Okay.
...wow, that was quick. It's always nice to have a thread with no discussion content at all whatsoever.

I saw no free option.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
I'm not sure when it became free, but I basically just searched for Portal and scrolled down. You'll see "Play Portal". That's the free game.
The offer will only be valid until 9/20, which is tomorrow. Be sure to grab a free copy of it soon.

It's intended. If you want to know how to clear that level (or at least have an idea of how it works), just look at my video link here.

Since you linked to my video, I'll explain.
While it's true that the platform is not there, it was not because it was not put in the game; it was because of a sprite limit. Only a certain number of sprites can be on the screen, and I suspect the platform is a sprite. If there are too many sprites on the screen, some of them can disappear which happened with the platform in the video.
You can alleviate the problem by getting rid of the excessive sprites on the screen and then coming back. That's what I did with the flying Koopa, I destroyed him, but... the platform still did not appear. The only two other sprites on the screen are the Fuzzies, but I can't destroy them without a Star so I was stuck and I had to turn on the Unlimited Jumps code.
Strangely enough, AFTER I turned on the code the platform appeared when I came back to the screen. I'm not sure why this happened, to be honest. O_o

I must say that the game actually looks very interesting, and I would love to LP it sometime once it is fully out. ^^
Keep up the great work! :3

Honestly, I don't really see the point of this topic.
If someone wants to LP it, then good for him/her.
Just because you want certain people to LP a game just makes the rest of us seem... pointless, I guess. It's just going to inflate the egos of certain LPers while deflating others. =/

I'm not sure why he isn't doing any commentary, though. Also, unlike the other LPs, this one seems to be structured to show only one exit at a time per video.
Link
There's a reason why I didn't do live commentaries on my LP's is because, one, I'm deaf and I don't really talk all that much (well, I can talk a bit, but there's no way to figure out if I said anything properly since I can't hear myself). For some reason the mic is still on but I just left it there as is so you guys would get SOMETHING out of me. I'm told some of my outbursts were pretty funny, so I decided to leave it on. ^^;
The reason why I did videos of individual levels is because that 1), it would make it easier for people to find specific levels if they needed tips or walkthroughs of it, and 2) the recording program I use crashes randomly so if I do a long LP and it crashes, I have to do the entire thing over which is incredibly annoying.
Anyway, I'm flattered someone mentioned my LP of YSQ. :3
However, I am stuck with one level: Mysterious Plain. It's a red dot, so there should be a secret exit SOMEWHERE, but I just haven't found it yet. Any hints? =/

This hack is frustrating me.
I just can't find a way to get through Crimson Switch. I have tried every possible way I could, and yet there's always an obstacle in my way - either by walls I cannot climb due to a lack of P-Switches or the inability to hit the ON/OFF switch at the beginning without being blocked off from advancing further inside.
I thought the ON/OFF switch at the beginning of the level had something to do with it, so after repeated egg throws to trigger it behind the outlined blocks, guess what happens. I can't proceed in the level because of the ON/OFF switch walls blocking my way past the 2nd reset door. -_-
This hack is pretty annoying, and it's only the first world. >_> It's almost Kazio-esque in terms of annoyance...

I am interested in LP'ing this hack, but I have a little problem.
Seems that the IPS patch has been removed from SMWCentral, and there's nothing in your post that mentions what happened to the IPS patch.
Sorry for bumping a relatively old topic, but it was still on the first page, after all ^^;

Just finished Le avventure di Mario 2 today. You can find the playlist here. Spoilers, of course, so proceed at your own risk.
I wasn't able to access a few levels near A Wonderful View and the Night of the Chucks, possibly from a pathing error. Whenever I cleared those levels, it actually sent me BACK to a previous level, and after finishing A Wonderful View I couldn't proceed any further and had to continue on to the final world on the main path.
Otherwise, it's a good hack and I had fun playing it.

I'd love to LP your hack, metalgearhunter, but I have a problem.
I tried downloading it from the link you provided in your first post, but it gave me the "File not found" error. I even tried right-clicking on the link and selecting "Save As..." but it just gave me a 15kb file that claims it's NOT an IPS file, even though it has the IPS icon.
Yes, I searched in the Hacks section, but nothing came up.

OH DURR HURR. I completely forgot all about the "Hacks waiting to be moderated" link in the Hacks section.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll work on LP'ing the hack later today.

I did a playthrough of Super Mario Star Road a few months ago and I enjoyed every minute of it, and I encourage anyone else to download and try the hack. I am sure you will also enjoy it. :3
There's going to be a Super Mario Star Road 2? Whoa. I'll have to do a playthrough of that game once it's out, for sure!
