I need to finish my hack by Friday, and I've run into a problem I can't seem to fix. Even though I have a midway point inserted into the level, I cannot start at it. I will appear at the beginning of the level. On my other level, I spawn and immediately fall off a platform that I can't even find in my level. I don't know if it's worth noting, but both levels use layer 2 as a level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have no clue if this is possible, but I'd like to know if there is any way to use bits of ASM coding in a VWF cutscene. I have a quiz section in my hack, and am trying to make it so that Mario is damaged after answering a question incorrectly. Thanks.

I've set the starting and midway point position to the exact same spot, since you walk enter a new room containing the midway point. However, I end up somewhere else even though both are set to screen 00.

No, I was just using Romi's VWF tool. I'll try RPG Hacker's patch though, if it doesn't take too long to setup.

How can I change the file select graphics to say something other than "Mario A" "Mario B" and "Mario C" as well as modify the palette of it?
Also, which GFX file contains the "Mario Start!" GFX? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Or do I have to use a hex editor to modify the tiles drawn? Thanks.
