That should really be a thing. But what we really need is a SMB2 style and unique game mechanics for styles.

"sprite list filename" then you have to enter the exact name of your text file.
It has to be in the same folder as sprite tool.

All that needs to be written in the sprinte list is:
1. The kind of sprite you want to add (number)

From the readme:

00-BF Standard Sprites (sprites included in the 'sprites' subdirectory)
C0-CF Shooters (sprites included in the 'shooters' subdirectory)
D0-DF Generators (sprites included in the 'generators' subdirectory)
E0-FF Invalid

2. The name of the .cfg file

An example would be:
08 birdo.cfg

or

4C boss.cfg

In this list you list every single sprite you want to add.

It says "Error: File "1DF9\2C P-Meter full (SMB3)" not found." when I try to insert my sound effects, and I know for a fact that I named it correctly.

I pasted the error from AMKGUI. The reason the folder name is there is because it's part of the error message.

So, I'm trying my hand at porting music, and I'm ALMOST done with my first port- it's Scrap Brain Zone from the Master System/Game Gear versions of Sonic 1. The only problem is that the looping's all broken, and I need some help with that.

I've included the TXT file, SPC, and MIDI for reference. Let me know if you figure out how to fix the looping, or if you have other recommendations (like what instruments to use).

When inserting manually with AddmusicK.exe, there is no such error, but the inserted song does not appear in the "Bypass Music & Time Limit Settings" menu on Lunar Magic; what's more, the hex values of the songs there don't correspond to the values in Addmusic_list.txt. I'm using effectively a clean, but expanded rom.

I don't know what you did to fix it, but the reason I've gotten this in the past is that music files NEED to be in the same folder as Addmusic, or a subfolder. If it's an above directory, you'll get this message.

...did you open the correct ROM? Also, what do you mean by "it's not showing"? Because if you're trying to choose your custom music from the header settings, it won't be there. You have to go into Bypass Music and Time Limit Settings (click this icon: #lm{music}) to change that.

I wouldn't bump without giving you SOME form of a port, now would I? Here is the (different!) Scrap Brain Zone theme from Sonic 1 on Master System and Game Gear: scrapbraintest3.spc The looping is all broken, though, since it happens to be my first-ever port.

For Caffie Radio, the "hide pony" function is redundant as there's no pony there in the first place. It had been there until the function was added.

And yes, I AM aware it is a troll function, but it's not going to work as well if people don't try to use it.
