I would like to nominate Wario Land 5 [demo] to be a featured hack.
This game is an interesting puzzler type of hack, and the first levels are challenging, yet you can tell they are just the beggining of a ladder of difficulty. The music is very Wario-ish, yet mixing the old, tunes with newer ones. The edited GFX is great, with Wario and many series baddies that run without glitches. The most noteworthy thing about this hack is how it puts two exits in each level. Sure, anyone can add a random pipe that leads to the double exit in each level, but they are positioned in such a way that you know it's there, but it's obviously harder to get to and you really have to think about what you should do.

Granted, but there's "some assembly required" and by that I mean it comes in 836,956,801,854 different microscopic pieces.

Corrupt a wish in reverse! Instead of posting a wish and waiting for someone to make it pointless, you post something you hate and someone makes it utterly needed! Here's how in goes:
1. I hate health food!
2. Ok, but the goverment now pays you $100 a minute to eat it.
I hate bricks.
3. Ok, but recent studies show that if you stare at one for 5 seconds or more, you gain the ability to fly. I hate...

Granted, but your local goverment captures you and puts you through various experiments, thus weakening you and giving them the wrong results that cause them to goof up when attempt to create more giants and they destroy the world.
I wish for world peace (duh!)

I'm on the neutral side on this. Does it matter whether we ASM hack or click n' drag? Of course the ASMers could make their own game, but without the popularity that LM gives, they would be flash games on some freewebs site. And if you don't ASM the game (like me), those ASM hackers are able to make extra content so that our games don't feel like the old SMW. It's definetally a double edged sword that's coated in a sugary glaze (like strudel!)
By the way, does anyone think that LM will ever get a full scale upgrade (ver. 1.2 or whatever)?

Granted, but everyone else in the world can now jump twice as high as Mario and are twice as strong as Bowser.
I wish my car was a giant Buzzy Bettle that cannot eat me or go on a rampage (ha!)
