Hello. I came here to show my first actual hack.
I made a few tries in the past to make a hack, but they were, either, boring or blatant copies from the original game. I believe this one is more properly designed.
But I digress. This is a vanilla(maybe vanilla-ish?) hack, made for the purpose of training level design.
Currently, there is only 1 world, with 5 levels.

Here is my first demo.

Screenshots:

Although I want to complete this hack, I believe I will take quite a while(cuz' life stuff). Do not be surprised if I take a long time to post/reply to something here.
i am also kind of lazy

This is probably a joke, honestly. I did better editting than this when I was 12 years old.

I also finished working on the next level. It's kinda short compared to the rest. The current name I gave it is "Wood Strolling", but I'll probably change it. Here are a few screenshots:

The theme was simple: a walk through the woods, as you go deeper into the forest. The title, however, came in mind as I looked into the wigglers, who play a major role in the level, and thought about how they move. But just as you said, it does sound awkward, now that I think about it. But I plan to change it more drastically.

*Updated palette to a more red-ish tone. Screenshots were updated due to that. Please look above to see the changes.*
Okay. Here is a nice candidate for the name of the level: "Chilopoda Pipes"

The brightest green part of the green pipes look a bit to bright/saturated compared to the almost brown-ish verges. This doesn´t seem to be that drastic on the blue/yellow pipes though.

I will probably keep that contrast. The idea is: all the green pipes are growing/shrinking pipes(the main gimick of the level). By making them more saturated, I help the player distinguish them from other pipes, or so I think.

An other minor complaint would be the "general" background colour (the bright beige). Maybe change that, too.

Changed to a light "blue"(it's actually green).

Important announcement here: the project is cancelled.

It's a prank, bro.

However, it's currently paused, due to real life problems(Vestibulars) and I will only be able to resume it next year.

With that said, I already began working on the next level. It's about bubbles and trampolines. Its current name is "Hydrated Forest"(kinda lame, if I'm being honest). I'll post a few screenshots later, if I can.

*A Not-So-Quick Update*
The Project is not dead.
I already came back from the admission tests, but I am currently too exhausted and uninspired to go back into Project right now. I should be going back in a span of one week.
I also got TF2 fever. Damn, I can't stop playing that game.

As for now, I will be playing and watching a few hacks so I get my groove back. Anyways, I just wanted to inform the current state of the Project.
