Is there a way to change the way a sprite functions such as speed and direction of travel? I've seen a hack with a super fast boo ring and a boo ring with only 3 boos. How is this accomplished?
Hello, Is there a way to make lava scroll up or down? For example; if you start at the bottom of the screen, you have to hurry to the top of the level to reach a "safe zone" before the lava reaches Mario.

I'm having issues with the boo ring causing lunar magic to crash every time I insert it. I've patched the extra tile bit patch and changed the Sprite header to 10 like the ASM says. Am I missing something?
It will crash when I load the level into the emulator. I haven't placed anything in the level except the boo ring for trial purposes to customize the boo ring. The rom itself has the retry patch and the small mario after midway checkpoint patch.

I've tried YY-CHR but I'm not quite sure how to insert the design into lunar magic.
I'm using PIXI to insert the sprite. And no I haven't tried it in a clean rom.

I've inserted the multi bounce shell in LM but the hit count is unreadable. The info says this...

Uses custom exgfx tile for the numbers and "infinite" symbol (just a slightly modified GFX20.bin file. SP4 of Banzai Bill tileset). Should be renamed before inserting. Remap it to fit your needs...

I'm fairly new to LM and not quite sure how to accomplish this. Can someone please simplify it even more for me please.
Thank you Thomas that did the trick, however it messed with a couple other graphics when I did the change. It made my on/off switch look like Rex when pushed and my falling spikes into skull platform. Any way to fix this or can I only have 1 or the other?
Why am I able to pass through the castle moving block? Is this normal? Is there any way to make it into a solid that cant be passed through?

Still learning how to hack and need some help. Can someone simplify how to get Mario to kick a shell sprite using the "Sprite Shooting Ability for Mario" patch from UberASM?

Do I need to change something in the ASM file? If so, what do I change and where?
Is there a way to drop a shell into water and have it slowly float down to the bottom? Ive tried doing this but the shell keeps its falling momentum. I thought that it was possible but maybe I'm mistaking.

still no luck. I've got it to alternate between solid and the dotted outline with the ExAnimation tutorial, but i'm still not able to make it switch only when i hit the on/off switch. any suggestions?

I'm creating a castle level and in the level I have a ball N chain. Everything works fine until Mario spin jumps on it. Once Mario jumps on the ball N chain a piece of the graphics disappears. Is there a way to fix this?

I changed Mario's palette but I want to change it back to the original palette but when I do it changes in lunar magic but not in the emulator when the rom is loaded. Can someone please help?
