Oh well, to each his/her own. Bored2tears doesn't have to like animé. :P

I personally like most animé, just not ecchi because it's gross (at least to me.) I also see no reason to hate an animé/manga simply because the other is superior. (E.g. For FMA, I read the manga and watch the animé, and don't ignore the inferior one, whichever it may be.) It never makes a difference to me whether I watch an official dub or a fansub, as long as the dub isn't butchered, but I'll only watch a fansub either for that reason, or because there is no English dub. I'll watch anything from Di Gi Charat Nyo to One Piece.

My top 4 favorites are Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Bleach, and DBZ. I like FMA for its story, random moments of humor, and variety of characters, Death Note because Ryuk likes apples and Light reminds me of myself, Bleach because some of the captains are cool, Uryu is awesome, Yoruichi's true identity is rather random (don't want to spoil in case you haven't seen it yet), and the fight scenes are actually decent, and DBZ because...it's DBZ. (I just like DBZ, but I can't give specific reasons. It's been awesome for as long as I can remember, so I'll put nostalgia here as a reason.)

On another note, One Piece is now being dubbed by Funimation, so it's more true to the original than the 4Kids dub, but that's old news. I'm starting to get into that.

I don't like the new dub voices for Pokémon D/P. Don't even get me started on why. They just sound emotionless. I don't like Dawn, either, since she's just a skinnier May with Pokémon whose personalities are carbon copies of May's, as well... Not to mention, recycled plot lines and horrible filler. I'm so glad Cartoon Network chose to re-air the Kanto episodes, which were and still are fun to watch. One thing that irks me, though - how come some HUMANS have heads wider than their shoulders (e.g. Dawn and May)? For the Pokémon, it's understandable, but this is absurd.

Edit: I also liked the Kirby animé. <_<

Yeah, it would. Title screen music uses the overworld bank.

1. To insert a level palette, go to File -> Palettes -> Import Level Palette from file, and select a palette. (Just to be safe, turn Enable Custom Palette on)

2. Go to Super GFX Bypass and change the BG1 page (or others as well if there are multiple files and the readme tells you to do so) to your BG ExGFX. Put a the BG's map16 file in the ROM's directory and press F3 on a blank page between 12 and 1F to load it. Press F9 to save. If there is no map16 page, you'll have to build it yourself. Then, go to Level -> Change Background Map16 Page, and select the one you loaded it on. Open the 16x16 tile editor and the Background editor, and proceed to build your background. Or, if there is a level included, you can copy it from the level.

Before you insert ExGFX, you have to extract and reinsert the original GFX so they're stored as 4bpp. If you didn't do that, your original GFX turn to mush. You should transfer all your levels and palettes (File -> Level -> Export Multiple Levels to file; File -> Palette -> Export whatever palettes you want to keep) to a clean ROM, then do as stated above. The ground shouldn't glitch up this time around.

Edit: Also, if you have an overworld you want to keep, open your old ROM and its overworld, then open your new ROM in Lunar Magic (not in a separate window, but through File), then click Overworld Editor on the toolbar (at the bottom of the screen, not in Lunar Magic) and save it.

Edit again: *Looks below...* thanks! :D ^_____^ :)

Since pieguy1372 covers most of it pretty well, I'll just scout a bit... alright. Done.

I really like the nighttime overworld, and what you did with the Star World's cloud tiles to make small hills that seem more natural, unlike the standard "hills with eyes" thing in most Mario games, but you should fix the Moon's palette so that the white part is perhaps very dark, since that looks awkward... and maybe darken the land a little bit. Make the water a dark blue instead of black, so it doesn't look too much like the sky with ripples.

As for the cement blocks, perhaps replace them with a different block, such as the one from the Fancy Castle ExGFX set or the wooden one from SMB3, since the SMW ones aren't exactly pretty, and only fit well with the Star World 4/5 background.

I'm wondering why you're making this a forced two-player game, though. I'm one of those people who would have to play both characters since I don't have a buddy to play it with.

That sunken ship with the smoke coming out of it... I think it's pretty cool you put that in there as part of the plot, and judging by the plot, that's the starting point, right? Very creative. :D

Lastly, the yellow platform in the YI sewer - it will fit better with a different palette. Perhaps brownish, to make it look like rust in the pipes? :|

It's looking good though, but I can't really judge it since there's not a whole lot of info up here. I'm looking forward to seeing submaps and other levels, carsr4carpeople1. If you're looking for a beta-tester (probably not for a while, I bet) then I'll play through it.

(Edit: Proofread textboxes for grammar errors, as well, before you submit a demo.)

*Offtopic - I like your avatar. I keep watching it over and over again. D:

Since this topic is about Blizzard, I'd like to share some news I got off of Curse this morning. Apparently, alongside Wrath of the Lich King and Starcraft II, Blizzard has something else they're planning for us. It's a new MMO. Rejoice!

http://news.curse.com/details/3555/

My bet is Diablo 3. It would be cool to see Starcraft: Ghost, but something's telling me that's not it... (I hope they do go back and finish it after they're done making Starcraft II, though.) Or, like it says at the bottom, it could be something completely new. I'll be keeping an eye on this for now, and update it as more news comes.

(Irrelevant: 100th post, no edit :D)
