I'm really looking forward to this game! I think Yoshi will bring back some of the nostalgic SMW feeling. There would also be a great idea by Nintendo to include some of the great tunes from SMW in a more modern way like they did with the SMB and SMB3 tune in SMG.

Btw, this was my first post on SMWC:)

Here is the first stage in my new hack prosject.
Pretty amazing, I haven't seen none other coin statues of mario before^^ I like it!
But are you able to get all the coins in the game or is it not principle ?

spritetool question:
I'm trying to get both a left and right going thwomp in the same level. When I use sprite tool I deside that I want the GFX from the original thwomp to be used on the new twomps, but I can only get one of the new thwomps to work at once. this is what I wrote in my sprites.txt file:

26 thwomp_left.cfg
26 thwomp_right.cfg

I can see that this is wrong in some sort of way, but I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone help me out?
Thank you Roy! I got it to work:) I think I've missunderstood something about the numbers that comes before the name of the sprites. Like, thwomps have have the number 26 in Lunar, Thwimps have 27. But as long as it works, I don't care at the minutte.
Well, Have you checked that the layer 1 mario path (the green path) actually lead to the next level? Are you sure that is is right and not left mario should go? Also, you should not anable the path mario is getting after he complete a level, you see?.

I'm not a good helper anyway:P

hehehe, suggestion: serach for a font on internet and then use it in MS paint. If you zoom in and then show the grid it will be easy to just draw it of in yy-chr.

Hmm, Have you edited that next level in the "Modify level tile settings" dialog at all? Just delete that level tile on the map and pleace a new one, then go in the Modify level tile settings and make the level number 103.

I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this question..

Anyway, when I've made ExGFX files until now I've always used another ExGFX file from this site and just overdrew it. I do this because I don't have a clue on how to make these Map16Page.bin and Map16PageG.bin I need to insert the graphics and all the other properties.

Is these .bin files hard to make? can anyone link me a tutorial if there are any for this subject? I would like to custom made these files in some sort of way:)

I also use Carols Addmusic and I also sometimes have the problem with the looping. This is very anoying:(
Here is a example track that loop totaly wrong for me: *Megaman 2 - Bubble Man's Stage (you find it in the music section).
Is there anyway to fix this, or do I need to use another addmusic?

Yey! I got it to work. I used Romi's Addmusic instead, and the bad loop is gone;)
I have a problem when the (blue) P-switch is activated in a bonus room I've made. If I enter the exit enabled pipe when the P-switch is still activated I just get a black screen and I can only hear the bad looping P-switch music goes on forever. I hope this is easy to fix, I don't wanna end up removing the P-switch to get rid of the problem.

btw: I could not find a old thread about this subject. I'll be grateful for any help.
If you want a spiny, click on the evil purple mushroom icon (Change index of graphics), then in the "Change sprite GFX menu, choose the first alternative on the list (Forest), then click OK and your spiny will have the right graphic in your level.

the GFX looks pretty cool DragonFire6780, but I think you should make black borders. Btw, are mario walking under the surface?
