This is a good tutorial:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2fAy_B9WPAs&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2fAy_B9WPAs&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

It helped me loads
Oh man. Extract all the GFX as separate files. AllGFX is for noobz.
If you do decide to use lunar expand, don't expand it any larger than 4mb
Have you added any extra .bin files to the list? If so, remove the added one(s) and try inserting again.
Sigh... Lunar Magic 1.7 has loads of incompatibilities and glitches. The mods have advised people numerous times not to use it. To be honest I don't even use 1.65. I find the older versions are better. Besides you have what? 7 pages of free map 16 for FG? You can't seriously say you've used them all!?
Post up some screen shots or video of what you do?
Sprite tool is case sensitive. You have to type it in the correct case. For example, let's say you're rom is called

Super Mario World (U) [!].smc

You'd have to put it in with all the cases correct. You can't put it in like

SUPER MARIO WORLD (U) [!].SMC

or

super mario world (u) [!].smc

You have to put it in

Super Mario World (U) [!].smc
It sounds like you didn't actually apply the ASM file that came with it...
The eggs in levels and the eggs in the cutscenes are stored as separate GFX.
I don't think there is such sprite. I've never seen one and the stop all generators sprite wont do it either. The autoscroll will automatically stop once the last screen with objects and sprites are reached though.
This vid my friend made will explain everything:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/N5cx-VioyG0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/N5cx-VioyG0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
All the featured custom music being overused. Some of the non-featured stuff is good too!

Oh also the one thing I hate is

KAIZO GIMMICKS AND HACKS
I became a well respected mod. In the course of an hour I had successfully approved 4 custom music files and wrote a hack removal log too! All I'll say is if you're working on a hack called Super Rex World where the main character is a Rex, don't submit it without running it past me. The funny thing is this was actually more of a 3 part dream. It was like a drama series!
From the Xkas program ZIP, extract everything but the test.smc and test.asm and put the extracted files in the same directory as your rom. Put the ASM (patch) in the directory that your rom's in too.Next back up your rom. This is important as various Xkas's might screw up your rom if you're a noob to this sorta thing. Repoint the patch to some freespace, if you can't do this don't worry. The patch should already be pointed to some freespace but you may have to change this if you apply anymore patches pointed to the same freespace. Rename your .smc and .asm file both to 'test', so that's:

test.smc
test.asm

Open as.exe and it will apply the patch. Any problems, just say.

EDIT: Kaizoman666! How dare you ninja me!

You mean Submap right? You need to apply this xkas patch first:

ok, i have two problems... in a vertical level (in this case i have it at level 109), how can i make the background not look all screwy?

also, a bigger problem, in that level, when you get a goal sphere, you dont do the walk, preventing me from being able to make a kaizo trap... how can i make it do the goal walk?

You wouldn't want to make a kaizo trap anyway... WOULD YOU!?

YAY!
That patch allows you to insert exgfx on the submap/overworld.

Oh. Wrong thing. Hehehe...

Good luck with that. My largest music is still half way through compression and it's 19kb... I can't actually insert it till I'm done compressing it.
