But given your name and apparent attitude, you seem like a rereg; if you were banned, it was almost certainly you're own fault.

Yeah it's a confirmed rereg. Didn't expect to wait this long to see it in action though =p

People don't disprespect/alienate/poke fun at you because you don't have a product to showcase, they disrespect/alienate/poke fun at you because of your behavioural issues. That's the same reason you've been getting banned constantly from all these forums. *That's* why you got banned and yeah, it was your own fault and has nothing to do with your ability as a programmer (hahaha what?). People who have meltdowns over the most ridiculous shit generally get banned from forums and you're no exception.

The above paragraph is just stating the obvious but you seem to have a lot of trouble with this concept. It's really concerning that literally years have passed and you're still angry about drama that I would've forgotten ages ago if you didn't keep bringing it up. I smell some deep seated mental issues that I really hope are being medicated.

I'm saying this for pretty much every forum you've been banned from or had drama with so far too, not just this one. The stuff in the OP (and elsewhere) is some of the most twisted logic I've ever seen and it's not the first time I read it either. The petty grudge over something real trivial that happened years ago is just the icing. If what you said were true, the other 1600 active users would be in a lot of trouble right now but somehow they aren't.

I'm closing this since on top of being in the wrong forum, there's nothing good that will come of this. If you'd like to kick and scream at me in PMs that's fine, but shitting up the forums with this sort of stuff will get you banned like it would for anyone else.

Alcaro made some good points in that post, but I should add a thing or two before this thread disappears.

Oh, and we don't want to see any "this is the past I want to leave" either. Bringing up exactly the same topic you don't want to talk about just contradicts itself.

Lots of emphasis on this point in particular. The (thinly veiled) SMWC hate threads on nesdev don't help your cause and eventually the nesdev guys will get tired of it. SMWC seems to anger you a lot but you keep on coming back, keep on bringing it up elsewhere. Why? It's 100% counter productive.

I'm not the same guy I was back in 2008. I had a good reputation on nesdev.parodius.com for the last 3 years, and I can have a good reputation on here too.

You've made multiple cases against yourself here, particularly on nesdev. Let
s take this for example. I mean, if my 6 year old niece pulled that on me I'd find it cute/amusing. But if that is seriously your way of dealing with a post you can't respond to, by trying to make yourself out to be some sort of victim with lies, then you have a shitload of growing up to do. It's mind blowingly pathetic and I wouldn't expect that level of emotional maturaity even from the preteen members here. It's not helping your "reputation" on nesdev either, I am sure.

You say you are not the same person from 2008, but are you the same person from April 25th 2012 when that topic was made? If you're trying to convince that you've turned over a new leaf or something, then your actions contradict your words. Please consider this before making any petty swipes at SMWC or trying to tell us how you've changed, seriously.

It's easy to let dumb mistakes slip by when you're being overworked at the last minute trying to get everything finalised before the due time. It's even more frustrating if they're obvious mistakes that would've been avoided with some simple proofreading.

Starting assignments early and getting them done in small incremental bits works great. Leaves lots of time for breaks so there's plenty of time to balance screwing around with actual assignment work. I make time for discrations that I'd normally do when procrastinating since forcing myself to work on for long stretches of time assignments never works out well. Especially if it comes down to an allnighter.

That's right. Those 4 values include all combinations you can make with 2 bits (or 2 buttons). The $03 combination you won't get on a normal working pad since you can't press left+right or up+down at the same time, but it's good to handle it for emulators where it's possible.

Never tried it. A bunch of friends offer me cigs now and then but I'm never tempted. That said, I don't mind being around smoke and don't have any ill will towards smokers.

Short term financial consequences mean dumping huge amounts of cash into a habit when I already have hobbies I'd rather blow the money on. Long term health consequences are enough to put me off it completely. I know a huge proportion people in high stress jobs smoke for relief but it's one of the ugliest ways of coping with it IMHO.

A pack of 20 seems to go for around $10-$15AUD here depending on the brand.
