You are also going to need to learn the basics, there are a few tutorials here, but search youtube as well.

My most important piece of advice is make it look real no cutoffness! Dont make it look like there is floating dirt and remember to close off your ledges so it doesnt look cut off!

A friend of mine named matt sent me a video of someone playing a metroid 3 hack that was just bosses, his name was protonjon
I watched some of the romhacks he did ( which i now cant stand to watch because they are crap, besides of course TKO which is my favorite hack of all time [and i dont even like asm hacks 0.o])
I guess around christmas i came to this site looking for romhacks, and when i needed a clean rom i went to google and got a package of lunar magic, LIPS, and a clean rom. I never really used lunar magic because i thought it would be to hard. Then i decided to just try to edit the first level to just try and see what it was like. I found it to be incredibly easy and that became my first hack Clappers invade (hehe you can just imagine the shitty shit that hack was)
Its hard to believe that i am actually making quality hacks now
Since christmas i have only been on my 360 like 5 times, all i have been doing is smw and swmc related stuff.( and a little bit of wc3 and AOE2 here and there )
Now that my life story is over, i am going to take a crap

If that does not work then make sure that the level has the event number that is the same as the bowser castle level in the last world which is 45
I am not exactly sure if that will work but i have a good feeling that it might

Double check that you saved, or maybe you just changed the wrong palette to black
