Haha. Yes. I mean obviously it was awkward at first, but just being called ma'am when you go out to get a burrito for lunch is a really wonderful feeling.
Haha, I myself have been called ma'am and miss, though as it is I'm male. Mostly older folk, sometimes on the phone, one guy working at a bookstore when I was with Rin, whom apparently did realize but then didn't say anything, according to Rin. Also when I was trying to get the radio configured at the desk at the FIRST Robotics Hartford Regionals, "What can I help you with ma'am?" "I-" "Sir. Sorry." "I-" "I'm sorry. Sir." "......I'd like to have this radio configured." I didn't care or mind and just wanted the radio configured but he was quite embarrassed, eheh. ^^;

Nothing more than a Google search. Search for it, extract it to it's own folder, and find the most recent English patch for it (or.. any other language I guess, good luck). Technically, downloading Touhou games is pirating because they are actually sold, only in Japan, but Zun the creator of the series has said he doesn't really care, if I recall.

That means that the security certificate is invalid. Websites can use security certificates to... verify their identity, as backed by some reputable security company who has been given the authority to sign them? I'm not entirely sure, but it relates to the use of https to secure and encrypt one's internet connection between users and their accounts. Some websites use https for everything, others use it only for log-in to secure people's passwords. Unfortunately, broken certificates are a common problem, often because they expire.
Personally, I therefore find it doesn't matter, which defeats the purpose of the certificate, but oh well.. If it's a bank or credit card, then I guess it should matter, but I've seen official organizations have broken certificates, so what is one to do? Not use the site when they're in a situation where they have to use it?
Okay, okay, back to the point. The warning means that the website's security certificate is broken, and therefore your connection through the internet may not entirely be (or isn't?) secure. If you don't care, then you just have to add the exception so you can get to the website. Click "Confirm security exception".

The problem is the emulator. This problem is called desyncing, where the recorded button presses become desynced and out of step with the actual game. It presses the same buttons, but as Mario has died or is in a different location, nothing is accomplished as he jumps around foolishly. Snes9x may be better at not desyncing, but the one fool-proof method is to use Snes9x-rr. This version is a modified version of Snes9x based on the source code that modifies how movies are made. I'm afraid I don't remember the technical details, but effectively, this emulator should never desync when making a movie. It is designed for TASers so their movie playbacks can be absolutely reliable, thus it is perfect for recording videos.

Originally posted by dottedboyThe best I can tell you about having a vagina (source: some of my female friends) is that you have to sometimes be careful how you sit so that you don't get a special type of wedgie... Also, they don't get in the way so much. Boobs, on the other hand, are very cumbersome when they get to be passed a B cup.
For men, in the right conditions and if one is wearing loose undergarments, it is possible to accidentally sit on one's own balls (augh painful thinking about it). Most don't do it, maybe it's unconscious to avoid it, aye.
Originally posted by dottedboySRS (sexual reassignment surgery) is a special surgery that turns a penis into a vagina. The manufactured vagina is VERY accurate to the real thing- expert gynecologists generally can't tell it's not natural, and it functions sexually just like a natural vagina. If you want the grizzly details about HOW the surgery is done...google it.
SRS also relates to the opposite direction in giving women penises. However, from what I've read, SRS can never match the real thing, due to the nature of the surgery it may also be difficult to have enough sexual sensitivity after such a drastic operation. Is this still the case? Has SRS improved for trans women?
(SRS is SRS BSNS)

Not yet.. I'll be taking Computer Science & Engineering at UCONN, which will require calculus and probably other stuff like linear algebra or differential equations or whatever that stuff is called. I'm not at all familiar with it, but so far my honors math classes in high school have been a bit too easy.. so I'm looking forward to that.

Originally posted by KaijyuuOh wow, neat. I didn't think they had gotten that far with plastic surgery. I'd always assumed there would be a significant lack of feeling with SRS and such (though I guess that's still the case for transmen).
Not quite plastic, since they use existing tissues that are there and stuff. They'll also use skin grafts if necessary.
Hm, is that the case for trans women? Mm, it's still a bit concerning, but that it's interesting how it's quite more successful than one might imagine..

Ah, congratulations. Another day, another step ^^
But it is something I've wondered, certainly some employers might rather not hire a trans person, either due to personal feelings or fear of potential costs such as health insurance or leaves (I don't know, I'm not too familiar with it). Clearly, your employer is comfortable with it enough to have you continue working there.. Does undergoing a transition potentially make it much harder to find a job?

Mm, I see, makes sense. In all cases, one can only hope for the best, it seems.
You do seem pretty fortunate. Your work is accepting, your family is supportive, your therapist is immensely helpful, your friends are mostly quite supportive, you didn't really have any internal struggles, haven't really had to deal with intolerance, etc.
Other than occasional mishaps, comments, or thoughts, is there anything troublesome that recurringly makes it difficult for you to be trans? Or is this an effect of an optimistic viewpoint?

I have to congratulate you. It's really great, and reassuring, to see your progress on these important steps.
Is that tax-deductible, or is the total money count just for the sake of it? I'd say that's not that bad in terms of cost, due to how important legal recognition can really be for people. What state do you live in btw, if you're comfortable sharing that? I've read that different states have different requirements for legal recognition.
I look up to you by the way..

What good are virus scanners when they mark legit keygens as trojans anyways?
