My first hack I played was (I believe) The Second Reality Project.
Today really appeals to the math fanatics like me...
2 things:
1) What's the address for that level again? (Yeah, I never noted level names when I was creating my overworld... :/ )
2) How do you "edit" how Mario moves so that he would walk around the level in a predetermined fashion?
I'm testing out a vertical level, but the background gets glitched up when I reach the bottom of it. I've tried changing the BG layer to no effect. What's going on?
I think the only problem is events. Aren't you only able to use 77 or something?
Anyhow, I think it's a cool idea, and I'd like to join, too.

I don't understand how the spikes (tileset specific object 39 in a castle) are able to smash down with layer 2. Can someone explain this to me, please?

Is it possible to stop a Magikoopa from attacking until you reach a certain screen? I've tried generator sprite E9, like Lunar Magic says, but I think that's only to stop him from attacking any MORE.
The problem is: That's what I'm doing. I have him placed in screen 01, but he attacks when I enter screen 00.
