I'm thinking it would be a good idea in my hack to change mario into a diffrent character. But how would I go about changing the GFX and stuff?

I may be just a complete noob, but i am having trouble using BG ExGFX. I use the bypass to make the Bg (and FG, everything the ReadMe's say) And then I try to edit the backround, and it says that the tiles I am using ar not in range. What does this mean and how do I fix that?

Well, my friend was just at my house, and we played it. It was my first time playing, so he always one, buy I got better at it, and it's really fun in my oppinion.
We played co-op in the game mode that you play for cups, and as a team we were so amazing. I am great at Defence, and he is really great at offence (showing you how I couldn't win, but could make it like 5 mins before anyone scored)
Oh, and one last thing- we were both playing agains this one team in a knockout round, and the score was one-one, and as soon as time ran pout, making it sudden death, the other team scored. Yes, at the exact moment. I'm surprised we didn't trow my Wii out the window!

Well, I went on the Map16 page, and put the ExGFX there, but on the same Map16 page in the BG editor, there was nothing there but blue squares.

I want to learn ASM, but I'm not sure what I use for ASM hacking. Any suggestions/recomendations?

So, I have been able to come up with good layouts for most types of levels, but I am at a loss when making water levels. The water levels I make suck. Any suggestions on how to make a good water level? (You know, the levels that you are submerged in and must swim through?)

Great suggestions. They can kinda go along with my current idea for my Hacks levels. Thank you.

I used Spritetool to insert the Boomerang Bro and Boomerang, but the Boomerang has the GFX of the Bro, and the Bro has the GFX of the Boomerang. I inserted them in the order Spritetool said, and I didn't find anything about this in the Readme's.

Not sure if you figured it out yet, but to insert a palette, you go to File>Palette>Import Palette from file. Then you open the palette file that you have. Most ExGFX that need a palatte have one included. It should be a .tpl file. If your ExGFX didn't come with a palette file, then you would have to change the colors yourself.

Well, I must say, since I don't know how you have to pass this level secretly, I can't really help you. Do you just have to fly over the ghost ceiling? If that's true, then perhaps you could leave a coin path that would show the path to fly, so following that would mean they take as little time as possible in the torent of ghosts, which would result in a lesser chance of dying. Now, if yu have it where they have to go into the ghost ceiling and move through something (like a mini maze or something in the ghost ceiling) You might want to set them up with a star, and then leave star 2 boxes within reach (don't put too many close together).
If that didn't help, I would just say in a vague way (to match your original question) to set your player up to get a mushroom, then a cape, then a star, then they fly through (or whatever), have a place to get another cape, and then perhaps another star, then the exit.
Hope that helps!

Zelda II was pretty bad. I mean, for part of a plot, you had to enter just 1 random, unmarked square on your map... For the main plot! Also, the graphics sucked!
MiM and MTM and Mario's Early Years sucked, but, they weren't made 100% by nintendo, as said before.
Don't kill me for saying this, but I generally liked Super Mario Sunshine. True, they could have made it better, but I just don't understand what was so bad about it. But, compared to Mario 64... you can't beat the clasics!

Well, I'd like to say with MP3, it was pretty good. I never played MP2, so the plot wasn't fully comprehendable to me. On normal mode, I found bosses slightly more easy than they looked, although some were quite challenging. The puzzles were pretty great, I couldn't get them all withought using online help. When I unlocked Hypermode dificulty, well... You might as well jump off a ledge, cause all the enemies were probably 3 times more powerfull, and your weapons are like 3 times weaker. That was hard- barely got through part of it!
We traded it in recently to get a Wii remote charging stand. Now we never need batteries!
P.S. No multyplayer for MP3... Disapointing.

Pretty sweet. I can't find much else to say. Great!

Well, I would assume that you would need to use an emulator savestate as you would with regular ROMs, ad you would need to find a GFX editting tool like YY-CHR that could correctly read those GFX, and you would then somehow have to change those GFX into GFX that can be used by a S-NES ROM. That's just a guess- might not be possible, who knows?

I would say DKC3. DKC2 was always my favorite. DKC was pretty good. The team in it pwned. DKC2 had a lot going for it, and I love it. DKC 3 was generally good, I liked the music, the graphics and the levels, but the devolopers definately cut a few cornerr when making it.
