Yuo mean people used floating munchers and cutoff tiles? I thought we would lose points if we did, so I didn't. I could have made a really good level if floating munchers were allowed.

i like full house. It's well written in my opininon. And they had like, 9 seasons, so that kinda supports that it is good.

I don't understand the problem with layer 2 in one level. I put layer two to be a level, not background, and to be interactable, but it is still acting as background, but I can interact (it scrolls like the background, but acts like it should when i touch it.
For some reason, it worked in a different level, but not this one.

I tied for fourth. Yeah, eveybody below me without a 4 next to there name isn't as good as me!

I never got the TXT. was I supposed to? I only had a custom pallete.

I'm working on a castle level, and it has grinders in it. When I tried to test my level, as soon as the level started, a grinder apeared out of nowhere, right behind mario and landed on top of him. I don't have a grinder places there, and all of the grinders in the level are attatched to a line. I tried repositioning the entrance, and it still apeared right behind mario. How can I fix this problem?

I deleted everything before starting the level. All of the grinders are connected to their respective lines and are working properly. There is nothing weird with the sprite memory or anything.

What is this "Valley of the Flood"? I have never heard of that, yet you people seem to be talking about it as if it is common knowledge.

Thank you all for your suggestions, but none of them fixed the problem. However, I discovered that one of the grinders in the level was somehow the one appearing at the entrance. I deleted it, and the problem was solved.

There is a .txt file that they are passing around to the entrants. A single .txt, on eperson gets it, that person passes it to the next person on the list.

The only custom thing I had was a palette. Do I need to send that?
I think it would all be better if we had to send a PM With this-
SMW Display Name
Level Name
Music Used in Level
Blocks use in level
ExGFX used in level
Custom Sprites
Anything else custom
And we all PM that individually to... Dots, right?
But maybe there is some unforseen problem in that. I'm not too sure.

Yeah, I have no clue why this is happening. A strip of land appears after a certain event, and it is not supposed to. So I go to lunar magic, and according to lunar magic, the strip of land is not set to appear after that event is passed. Can anybody suggest what to do?
Oh yeah, and since I'm already here, why is my exit tile not working? It is linked to the proper one...

I was suggested that by somebody on youtube. I changed the event that was passed to a different event. And it worked.
But then I realized forgot to add the pathway that appears in Bowser's Domain after the gateway is revealed. So I fix that, and test it again- and the strip of land apeared there. After entering Bowser's Domain and leaving- it is gone.
So, basically, the layer 2 event tiles are for, whatever reason, apearing in the overworld, along with the level that appears, and then they go away.
I have never heard of this happening, and I can not think of why it happens. At the moment, I believe I may just keep it the way it is. After all, them player will see it and be like WTF?, but then they will go back and see it is gone. What do you all think?

Well, if you make it clear to the player that every level has two exits, you could use yellow and red, but in my opinion, you should make all of the levels the same color. The New Super Mario Brothers used all blue level tiles, and I haven't heard of anybody calling it redundant.

A new level I have made uses fast auto scroll. It works fine, until the end. Because the screen is moving so fast, mario suddenly 'stopping' at the goal point kills him. Idf there a way to fix this or... to turn the auto scroll off?
