Im trying to achive the title screen logo similar to Mushroom Kingdom Meldown 2 but when editing GFX29, i dont have enough room to make it the way i want it. Is there a way to achive this?

Here's my advice, don't make the title screen via the overworld editor. What i always do is build the title screen actually in the intro/demo level and it looks just as good. Plus, you get much more space to make the title.

I wasnt making in overworld editor, how do you build in level C7 and make it follow mario?

You can edit FG1 in level C7 to have text instead of land. But i guess you can't have a Title screen level then. :P

That all depends. Check out my title screen below:

The 'Super mario Bros' text is all in layer 1, actually in level C7. So it is possible to have good title screens and intro levels simultaneously

How did you achive this?

What ive been doing is taking the ExGFX tiles from the 8x8 and pasting them in the map16 editor. I got it assembled correctly but cant find the right pallete and it wont follow the screen.(Its stays in the place i put it and it goes offscreen.)

Ok thank you..Ill try it when i get home.

I have created a title screen for my game and its purdy big(not the file size, the graphic)..Is there an easier way to assemble it in MAP16 other than selecting each 8x8 tile and pasting it? Doing this would take longer that 6 hours!

Tried it as a generator, nothing happens.

Where did you insert the generator.. And is there on/off swiches in your level?

Well..you never know(noobs these days!)
Is the generator at every Secondary Entrance?

Is the someway to create a Map16page.bin outside of Lunar Magic, to bypass clicking and pasting so many times, and generally i mess up about 2,000 times :(

Theres no RTL after your dcb "INIT"

Iceguy/Yoshi says this works perfectly fine for him. I've also tried that already.

This tells me your inserting it wrong? What did you insert it as and set the bit too?

Thats what i need to know(the file format of map16page.bin)

It is a generator(you can tell this because it doesnt have any code in the "INIT" routine) I meant whats you 'sprites.txt' look like?

Glad you got it! ;)

My best work comes from things like this happening. Crazy enough from time to time i'll delete everything I have done just to recreate again. This provides practice and using more careful actions your new hack will turn out better!

1.)Click on the Level file menu select "Change other properties" and in the dropdown select Horizontal Scrolling:None Verical Scrolling:Constant" and click 'Ok'. This covers 1 and 2.

3.)Custom blocks require ASM knowledge and blocktool or BTSD, sprites require a lot more ASM knowledge, and a tool called 'Spritetool' both availible in the tools section.

EDIT: Beat by a little :(

I have created a great title screen and while sitting tediously transfering ExGFX map16 tiles, i thought "Hey there must be some easier way to do this!" Is there? Like mayby assigning as a sprite? The screen will be static no mario, and have no other things.
