So I made a couple of changes to my old schedule for school. Originally I was enrolled in Law first, then Guitar, then Lunch, Jazz, and English. Due to other people in the previous semester telling me about the class and showing me what it's like I grew a disinterest to it and switched out before this semester. I also switched out of Guitar today due to struggling to reach the low strings (fuck you short fingers).

Now I'm in Biology with a lab and a package of work to be done to prepare for a quiz on Monday (we had one this past Monday, too) and I have to catch up on the past week of Chemistry work. This is hell.

BOY I CAN'T WAIT FOR UNIVERSITY

Well. These last 2 weeks have been pretty hectic academically. Finally caught up, though, and surprisingly loving Biology class.

I've got a lot coming up this week, including a Bio test on Wednesday, a Chem test the same day, a seminar presentation in English on Monday, regional-level performances for band on Tuesday and Wednesday, and a Reach tournament on Thursday.

Made silver level honour rolls at my school (85-90% average - mine being 85.5) for last semester, set as definite flute soloist in the school's concert band, broken through my shyness and now talking to people with no issues, got to listen to a public speaker (Norman Kunc, if you'd like to know) with cerebral palsy be awesome, and on Thursday got to go to Boston Pizza and assist with service for fundraising for our band trip in May (also got offered a job I declined because holy shit waiter service is annoying and no time to do it, plus a lack of a way of getting up besides the hour and a half walk).

A number of things just within the last 2 weeks have happened and this coming week will be awesome, too. Boy life is being awesome.
This. And no, this is not over-exaggerated. Performances and such only apply to this upcoming week. If we're talking a normal week, imagine them replaced by more of those homework blocks.

Homework consists of both written work and studying. Too much information in Bio to study, transferred into Chemistry a week late so I only just caught up, and we're doing short-stories in English leads my teacher to give the class like, 25-30 obscure questions on a different obscure story each night.

English is actually more of a killer this year than Bio, or at least at the moment.

I took a sort of break from SMWC over the last 2 weeks. It wasn't exactly a break since it was forced upon me and consisted of continuous, non-stop homework.

About the division stuff, it's because certain teachers look at a class as one large mind rather than several students. You'll come across teachers like those, and they really suck to have since you pay for other peoples' stupidity.

How can you live with that schedule? 3 hours of sleep from Monday to Friday? That's easily the worst (in terms of workload) schedule I have ever seen. Why do you need to do so much homework?

Because the guidance counselors at my school hate me and put all of my easy classes in one semester (scored an 86 average effortlessly, and that's literal; I did no homework whatsoever, though there was hardly any at all). This semester, they thought it would be funny to put me in the difficult courses and gave me the most strenuous teachers to work with.

I'm not kidding. I've asked people who did and did not have the teachers I currently have who took the courses I have now before, and everyone who had the teachers I currently have said it was an awful experience. The guidance counselors at my school must think it's pretty hilarious.

Also, I've almost passed out several times in every single class (yes, that includes jazz class, where everyone's very loud and should be able to keep me up), and that huge chunk of work on Sundays is from all the work throughout the week I couldn't get done within the time I have. It's been a pretty awful ride this semester.

I need to catch up on the latest few episodes. The most recent one I've seen is Read It and Weep.

Good thing the March break is coming up soon, that will give me more than enough time to watch them without constant interruptions with life.
Nothing except the large mass of homework I'm expecting and dealing with some other real life shit to fix the financial hell we're living in right now.

I hope I at least get a day to myself. I'm not expecting it to happen, though. :/
Wow, I feel pretty stupid now. I just had a feeling there would be an easier method than going through every graphics file to find what I needed.

Thank you! You're my hero! <3

That will be determined at a later date. Father's Day here is in June, so uhh... yeah.
I choose overworld contest because I'd actually participate. I've never partaken in a level design contest because level designing is incredibly boring to me, and it's actually kind of unfair to certain people who really don't like designing levels that don't get many contests because there's always a much higher demand for level contests.

I mean, how many level design contests have their been? And didn't one just end not too long ago? And what, we've had one overworld design contest in the history of the site (at least I'm pretty sure it's just been one; correct me if I am wrong).

Thanks for existing SMWC. Had you not existed I may not have at this moment.

Oh yeah. *insert stuff about maturing and such*

I am completely 100% serious

Why are you still here then :V

As noted several times, SMWC is like Hotel California - you can check out as much as you'd like but you may never leave.

e: should probably give my opinion

People that type with bad grammar and spelling. It's fine if English isn't your first language or you just don't know, but when you know perfectly well and STILL type like a 4 year old it makes you look like an idiot and is unimaginably annoying.

xkcd. Can't live without the sheer entertainment of logical and romantic humour that's offered.

But you'll be screwed on four of the seven days of the week.

Gotta go with YouTube.

Yeah, except it's which URL, not which website.

That means everyone who has said something like YouTube gets to stare at the main page uselessly (or one video which would be better but still suck) while 3 days every week I get a little bit of entertainment.

I mean, what's better? Getting an update on http://xkcd.com/ certain days or sit on http://www.youtube.com/ boringly all day?
