I guess the first step to becoming a successful member of any community, big or small. So, I present to you, me.
I'm Canadian, so don't be surprised if I'm plotting the phrase "eh" whenever I think what I'm saying is true but still needs to be confirmed, sort of as a replacement for the common internoob saying "Amirite?".
I was raised by a teenage mother who enjoyed playing the SNES, therefore I'm a big fan of games like SMW and LoZ:LttP. I've been Emulating games such as World of Warcraft and Pokemon for a while, but when I heard of SMW hacking from "Let's Plays" by ProtonJonSA, I was turned on.
I didn't come here to make a new course built up of 99% muncher and 1% stars. I'm an aspiring game developer and hope to make something more along the lines of Super Mario TKO, where it's realistic and fun at the same time, like classic SMW!
Well, I hope to meet some of you! That's all for now! Bye!

Eeep! I made a small mistake in my first line; sorry if my sentences sometimes don't make sense, I have a Logitech Mouse who's drivers are incompatible with my Default Mouse Drivers, which for some reason keep being used instead of my new drivers.
In other words, my cursor types when I jump.
Anyways, thank you Broozer and Rabees, I'll certainly stick around. If I get caught up on work, I may put this on the back of my mind and totally forget. Remind me on MSN @ Musrock@live.com

I see I'm not alone when it comes to being the outcast who everyone picks on.

I'll just get my list out then...
-Dark; I swear I've seen ghosts. I have felt something gently touch my face when nothing was there.
-Heights; But not rollercoasters!
-Airplanes; Can't stand the thought of a tiny manufacturing error causing the plane to rip in half and sucking me into the ocean.
-Boats; I'm afraid of water when I can't see land, thus also boats.
-Transport Trucks; I panic whenever I'm driving next to one.

A lot of the people on that list for level sign-ups have gone inactive. Doubt this will ever be finished.

I've only told one person, this girl I talk to on the Internet. She goes to my school but we never talk. She doesn't think the stuff I do is "childish", she thinks it's orginal.
I tell her everything though, so...

How would I go about performing an action such as flipping a muncher upside-down or rotating it 90˚? Couldn't find a tutorial about it, nor was the answer in the F.A.Q.

Sorry if this isn't the best place to put this topic, but I couldn't find a Music section (Maybe I'm blind?), so I guess I'll ask here:
What's the best program(s) for 8/16 bit music composition? I don't just want a generator...

I know that, but I want to compose my own music... I need to know what program I should use.

Just to let you know, this would fit in the Computing section, hence asking about programs.
Makes sense.

Not if you want to use the music for an SMW hack, which I would assume you do since this is in Basic SMW Hacking. In that case, Notepad is the way to go (or a midi editor like Anvil Studio, but then you have to convert it manually into .txt format).
I got Anvil Stuido, works pretty good. Thanks.

Here's a question for you all;
Let's say you have a website that supports a certain cause. It's only one page with a few pictures, some information and a donation link.
If the website looks more professional, would you be more likely to donate? If it was just a white page would you still be likely to donate?
I DON'T want answers like "I wouldn't donate at all", but if you would donate, would you be more likely to donate to an attractive page?

How would I go about taking my custom level 105, and making 106 the exact same without having to remake level 105?

Well I have a stair of coins in one level, but incase you screw up and don't go fast enough I setup a door to go back to the beginning. But for some reason the coins disappear after the restart!
