I'm an oldie returning from a long, LONG hiatus. You may remember me as Phazorite from Acmlm's Board. I'm just now becoming active here, although I've been lurking and downloading hacks since 2006.
Sometime in 2007 I gave up hacking for college--but now I've learned to find a balance and am planning to get my old hack back in business. It's been in the works, on and off, since 2006!!

I was just starting to get semi-good at hacking when I quit. I'm now honing my skills further. I still need time to get up to speed on things like custom music and ExAnimation, which have taken off since my disappearance. I need to play more hacks for inspiration...but it's hard when you wanna have a life :P

I am level-headed and strong-willed. Despite my relative inexperience, I'm very ambitious, and I never settle for less than excellence. However, I'm very tolerant of n00bs, as long as they RTFM and don't spread their ignorance through the site like herpes.

Currently working on: Mario's Kool-Aid Acid Trip, a small (~23 levels) choconilla hack focusing on custom palettes, creative use of original graphics, a very nonlinear overworld, custom music, and engaging level design. Lost ECHO has joined forces with me and is designing two of the levels. Much progress has been made, and my level designs are turning out better than expected. Progress is slow, but that's just my nature :\
Started: July 2011.

Upcoming: "Luigi the Dreamwalker" (working title). I had a flash of inspiration as I was tinkering with custom graphics on YY-CHR, and decided to design a few levels of it early as a side project. Work on it will fully begin after MKAT's release. Be patient, my friends!
Started: September 2012.

Previously in progress (mothballed): Super Mario Alchemy: The Mushroom Elements, a massive, epic chocolate hack started in August 2006, and technically my first. It got frozen in pre-demo status, and hasn't been worked on in years. However, I've been planning it out further for about a year--just haven't implemented my ideas yet.
It'll be out "whenever it's ready". And since hacking is a minor diversion of mine, it may be years away. But mark my words--it's my attempt to create the next TSRPR, Keytastrophe, or Essence Star, and I won't let it be anything shy of a masterpiece.
