My name is Simsam and I've been doing video game modding for awhile. I started with DOOM II wads, and didn't really enjoy it. In fact, I have no idea why I modded DOOM II at all. It was easy to learn, but since the game had been around for so long, and since it was a PC game (Which also supported modding in its early years) DOOM's modding community had huge projects that dwarfed anything I could've made. I hate this mindset I have. I must make a good impression-- My hack must be just like theirs!
Its terrible. But, it allows me to learn a lot from other peoples works.
After I stopped DOOM modding, I dabbled with SMW modding and lurked on the site. I patched funky .asm gimmicks into my first test hack and EXGFX seemed so daunting at that time.
I stopped SMW, and moved onto CS:GO I made one or two maps, they weren't half bad, but at this time I KNEW I wanted to mod games but didn't know which one.
For a little bit, I thought about Deus Ex modding. It IS my favorite game ever, so I thought I'd enjoy it.
Never touching the Unreal Editor again.
And now, I make my return to SMW Hacking. Hopefully I can make something rad.
Well, if you're reading this, thank you so much for coming and checking out my profile! Have a rad day, and remember to remain jammin'.
