Hello, and thanks for visiting my profile. My name is aj6666, but you can call me aj for short. I discovered this place arround late 2009 and joined on early 2010 and I've always been active around here since then. A little more than a year after I registered, I was invited to the staff and promoted to moderate the Spanish subforum; however, with time I was asigned other functions such moderating hacks, organizing the MOTM awards and taking care of the forums in general. Nowadays I serve the site as the manager of the hack section and administrator.
As I hacker I specialize on level design, I defend the idea of level design being the most important aspect of a SMW hack and shouldn't be looked down in favor of aspects like music, graphics and even ASM. I have made a few writings about level design such as my (now old) level design guide and my more recent philosophy of level desing which I showed in the 2012 C3. Currently I only have one complete hack under the name of "Mario's 2 Ways 2 Victory" which can be found here, but I have made several unrelated levels for contest and colabs.
Outside of my laptop I'm known as Alejandro, which is my real name, I'm 21 years old, male French-Mexican currently living in Mexico and studding psychology. I share with many professionals in my field the point of view that subjectivity is more important than objectivity when we study people's behavior and mentality since there is no such thing as an algorithm of though, and every person is different and unique.
