Fling Blocks will activate, and fling Mario or sprites upwards upon contact.
When flinging Mario, the Fling Blocks will not stop spinning until he touches the ground. When flinging sprites, the Fling Blocks will spin for 15 frames. None can interact with Fling Blocks are they are spinning.
Also included is a Red Fling Block variation, to insert with "fling_blocks_red.cfg". Red Fling Blocks only get activated by sprites, and Mario can use it as a sprite platform.
Is now a Giepy sprite. The Romi's SpriteTool version is also included in a seperate folder (which uses the extra bit to switch to the red version).
******* IMPORTANT *********
When first inserting with Giepy, make sure that the Extra Bytes feature is enabled, and that the Library path properly points to the libraries folder.
If using the Batch file "InsertPrompt.bat", edit it to make sure that, on line 10:
set OPTION= -b -w -L libraries
If using the GUI "piee", just check in the Options menu.
It's a unique sprite. I can't think of any application for it that I would have, but it seems to be a good sprite for puzzles.
I'd personally like to see a setting that lets you adjust how many tiles wide it is. If you could make it go a full 16 tiles, it would definitely be a good puzzle sprite; throw a bouncing rock at one end and Mario would be forced to jump to its rhythm or risk falling.
