Tip: When determining a time limit, remember that players won't be as familiar with the level as you are. If you normally complete the level with the timer around 100, others might run out of time on their first try.

This patch gives the player the ability of climbing walls and making wallkicks, based on Specter Knight's movement as seen on his campaign in Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment. See the ASM file for more info.
Works quite well and is fun to build levels around.
I have noticed however if you duck on vanilla platforms like the Grey Falling ones / Turn Block Bridges the player will freak out and start moving quickly in a direction which seems like a small glitch.
There are two things which should be taken into consideration: The first one is that it's easy to exploit the wall climb because you can gain more height if jump at the highest point and reattach to the wall. The second one is that you can dispatch from a left wall if you press right but can't do the same if you climb a right wall (i.e. pressing left doesn't work).
Also, this patch simply requires a place to run the code at any time so the main code can be turned into an UberASM code and can cause redundant incompatibility with a couple patches (currently, it hijacks $00A2D8 which also is used in a couple patches like Yoshifanatic's Vertical Camera Panning) ‒ the other additional hijacks are necessary, though. It also disables free roaming mode due to the additional hijack for the $77 backup.
