This is a short SMAS SMB3-styled hack, and the third hack in the Monty Mole Island series.
It also has SMB3's status bar, music and sound effects.
-Replaced MidiGuy's music and Koyuki's SFX with LadiesMan217's ultimate versions.
-Fixed the level tiles after clearing levels in the OW.
-Made some small changes in Para-Beetle Jumps, Roto-Disc Fortress and Boomerang Attack.
-Added an "End of the hack" level. This "level" has no number on its level tile.
-Entering a level now plays a sound effect.
Full list of changes is on the "Credits & Change Log.txt" file.
i have a BIG problem with the fact that your Character does NOT grow after a Power Up
its verry irritating
i didnt play the first 2 so i asume they have the same problem
did really NOBODY pointed THAT out?!?!?! o.O
the first 2 level were OK
allthou the second one had some grazy jumps up his sleeves
the Castle was pure madness...verry long and hard
the rest after that was verry long stretched emppty Levels which felt like they took the beginning and copy pasted it 5 times over the Level
and some even missed their Message
for example The "Fire Bro" Level had like 3 Fire Bros over a 5 minute long Level
why was this Level called "Fire Bros" if you barely saw them?
and the Level with the Big Fish who can eat you was also a joke because most of the time you werent even in his range
and the Airchip Level was a scroll Level and had like 3 enemys over 2 Minutes...it was the easiest one..which is bad because it was the Last Level
the music and the graphics were standard so nothing special there
i would like to give this hack a 1,5/2 but since its not posible i will go with a 2/5
because its not Broken and some may enjoy the blank-long Level design
and its always cool to have a new character to play with!
even thou...he dosent get bigger after a mushroom...
i made a Lets Play about it!
This, I believe is the best hack of the series so far. This hack did what the first two hacks couldn't do as successfully. The first hack of the series was too easy to a point that almost made it seem boring. The second hack features more complex and challenging levels(yay) but I felt like the difficulty increase was somewhat "in your face". I experienced some unexpected hazards in the game that seemed like a "hard difficulty" experience. In this hack though, I felt like it accomplished what the second hack wanted to do. This installment is significantly more challenging than the first installment but accomplished this in a more open and reasonable manner. I am really looking forward to the next installment in this series!!!
