You got the notation down but you can take it up a step further for accuracy. The mixing could be better. First, all these adjustments were made using w255. Channel 1 is okay, channel 2 and 3 volume should be lowered by 3, 4 should be lowered by 20, 5 should be lowered by 15, 6 should be risen by 30, 7 is okay, and 8 should be risen by 30. More info on channel 6, it can be panned either to y9 or y8 but that's as close as you're going to get, I found it better at y9. The channel is also missing the volume fade. The echo is also not matched to SMW's volume, the echo levels should be 27, not 14. You get this by taking chrono trigger's echo volume (14), multiplying it by SMW's master volume (7F), and dividing the result by chrono trigger's master volume (40) which gives you 27 (all in hex btw). If you have more questions on this, don't hesitate to ask in the music thread or music channel on the discord server. Continuing on, the pitch on those snares should also be tuned higher. You can do better adsr for the strings like a softer attack but all in all it can still be better but it's up to you if you want to peruse and make these changes. If you're wondering where I got the volumes, check the SPC700 Player and you can see every channel's volume levels. If the song's too loud when you've matched up the channels, you can lower the global volume, this ensures a near identical 1:1 mix when porting from other SNES titles. While this may sound like a round up of mistakes, its more of advice for things to catch next time you port and hopefully it helps!
