Description: This patch will create a sound effect that occasionally plays when the P-Switch or directional coins are on. It's similar to the effect in A Super Mario Thing, but when the countdown timer goes below a certain point, the ticking sound will start occurring at a higher frequency.

I highly recommend using the No Star & P-Switch Music patch for best results.

This version adds a "running out of time" sound effect to the directional coins.

True. Actually, there's a much better workaround in AMK itself that doesn't require any patch. You can go in "asm/SNES/tweaks.asm", open the file and change the "!PSwitch" define value to "00". The level song won't stop and you'll get the desired effect from this ticking sound patch.

I hope this becomes more known to people.

What's the point if the patch required for this to work doesn't work for AMK?
