Description: | (v0.7.1) Merry Christmas SMWCentral! This is my present to you! *PLEASE READ THE ENCLOSED README FOR EXPLANATION OF BUGS/ISSUES AND BONUS CONTENT.* This is "The Forever Mystery Part One: Rescue!", my attempt at hacking Super Mario World and my first TRUE release to the public. Sure there have been demos before of previous projects but none have been as big as this one. It's also my attempt at proving that you can have good level design without ExGFX, ASM, and other advanced techniques. This has no custom music because addmusic wasn't created back when this was made. Thanks to you all for the support throughout the development of this hack. Once again, read the Readme inside! ~FirePhoenix |

The design here is well managed: the author is creative enough in each level, offering challenges and variety every time. This makes it pretty much a fun hack to play. I can't say much more design-wise, except for maybe a few secret exits which weren't intuitive to get at all.
The aesthetic is pretty sweet, the author kinda kept the vanilla feel using edited versions of the original tilesets. It was pleasuringly-looking, not my favourite kind, but for those who like vanilla hacks you gotta love this.
Misc issues:
-The hack ends after you've beat "???'s Tower". If you get too curious and press the wrong arrow button, you'll eventually get stuck on the overworld.
-Some major slowdown occuring in a few level, especially in those where the dark room has been used.
