Description: | My first hack, second attempt. Hopefully everything is fixed now. Now contains ExGFX, custom music, custom sprites, and the like. Techinally has 7 levels, but I didn't count it since it's more of a mini-level. It's "hidden" in a place where people normally skip over. *Cough* Constructive critism is appreciated. fixme: music breaks on accurate emulators. |

Few warnings for those who play this, or at least with snes9x:
In the first secret level, the level is prone to crash. There is a chance when you hit the p-switch that there is a ringing sound, if this happens, and you can't hear any sound at all afterwards, the game will probably crash when you complete the level or die. Another time is when you actually complete the level, the game crashes. This can be avoided by hitting the bar at the end. In the second secret area, when you reach the ice portion, there is a sound effect that sounds like a minigun firing through the level. There will also be times when the music stops at certain points, like when hitting the aforementioned p-switch.
But just how bad is this hack anyways? Do you really want to find out? Are you a fan of silent bullet bills? This is a hack that you have to have the real deal guts to play!
The design is pretty linear, not that it's a bad thing, but here it's not spicied up enough I think. Most of the level coinsists in going right avoiding enemies. Sometimes there are a few nice gimmicks (like the invisible ground or the ice blocks in the ice level), but my overall opinion is that this could've been much better. Last but not least, sometimes the design is unfair, mostly in the ghost house, where you have to blind jump in order to find the way to get out. Not a smart move, not intuitive at all. This counts for the secret exit too, but atleast you can see the pipes if you keep going in the level.
Aesthetics are not very good too. Some palettes feel off, some gfx clashy (like the ice level), it's not a too cured job overall. I feel that the author could've made things better here.
Some issues:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- "It's hot in here..." has some weird tiles appearing and disappearing after the midway point.
- Major slowdown in some levels which are terribly annoying.
- Some sprite tile limits issues occuring rarely.
Overall, not a very good hack.
