| Tip: If you're using the wall-running purple triangles in your hack, remember to add tile 1EB (or a tile that acts like tile 1EB) underneath it. Extended object 44/45 will include this tile for you. |

| Description: | What if Nintendo had stuck with some of their original material while creating the Super Mario World we know and love today? Well, this hack is my take on how it may have been!
This hack is based and inspired by all of the pre-release screenshots, unused materials, ancient interviews, and some minor assumptions revolving around Super Mario World, and it's creation.
Most of the GFX were made by me, as well as the levels themselves. The bosses also each have something "beta" about them. Have fun!
Oh, and the hack is open. Feel free to use any GFX in the hack, but provide credit as necessary.

| Review by triskalguilo | This was a thoroughly enjoyable hack. Rarely did I come across something that took more than 2-3 tries to get through. Only complaint is that most of the levels are "prairie" themed, which got kinda old... although since the overworld IS one big prairie, I suppose it's appropriate
The cool thing is that it actually FEELS like a beta game. I don't know how exactly the author pulled off something intangible like that, but they did.
I think it'd be neat if the .zip contained the source material that the hack is based off of (i.e. the screenshots, interviews, etc.). | | Posted by: triskalguilo - 2010-06-24 02:14:39 AM |

| Review by 1UPdudes | Where to begin?
Honestly I played this hack and I loved it. It gave anyone whos played a real feel of what SMW could of being like. The level design was fun felt just like SMW and also the raccon powerup made it stand out alot. The Overworld looks fantastic, even though theres cutoff, It does not bother me the slightest. Lastly the beta Mario and Luigi GFX, they are great.
Overall I enjoyed this hack. Its the best hack Ive played. The ammount of work thats went into it.
Enough stalling heres my score.
