Tip: When making your overworld, mix the terrain up! Angled land and multiple colors looks much more interesting than square land and plain colors.

Description: Yep, it's demo 2 of my hack, The Title is Irrelevant.

Mario has gotten bored of saving the same princess millions of times, and decides to wander around the world. Little did he know, no epic tale was about to unfold... or was it?
No, probably not.

The Title is Irrelevant is a mostly "vanilla" hack, with a few hex edits that don't affect gameplay but that's it.

The readme contains all the other information you don't need to know.

COLOR!

oh jesus, but anyways. this hack is a delight to sit through, simply a delight. i honestly think there are a million reasons to play this, but i'll just cover some main points.

mainly, it is a vanilla hack done right. not enough hackers like to go the vanilla route, and i don't know why. it's so much less complicated than having to import and fiddle around with all these outside things, working in LM is just easier. regardless, the levels are designed in such a way that i would compare them to SMB2 the japanese version. harder than the original but still completely fair and fun. every level flows naturally through its progression and not only gets the job done, but compliments the OW theme. also there are plenty of secrets to be found, so spend some time digging. the next thing i'd like to point out is, COLOR. when was the last time you played a hack and saw every possible color in the spectrum utilized to full effect? besides here, duh. i thought so. people don't seem to realize that a bad palette can ruin a level, or that a mediocre one can cripple it. the colors here are used to full effect and they help support the levels as competently made.

so if you couldn't tell, you should, no no, you need to download this hack. like now. right now.

Too unnoticed. This deserves some love. I've played through this a couple of times, and I keep enjoying it. The level-design is far better than from most of the hacks (although a tad too hard at times), making it perfect for those who want to play a good vanilla hack. The overworld is almost flawless, very well done. Every level has an amazing palette, and the decorations are very well used.

Overall result: 9/10. I recommend playing it.
