2 Player Co-op Quest 2

Standard

Since a lot of people seemed to enjoy playing the first installment of 2 players pinned against each other simultaneously, I figured it wouldn't hurt to make another mini hack out of this, barring a MGU2-esque feeling I decided to work in. This one has an exceptional amount of ExGFX put in, custom sprites, music, etc...

Mario has returned from a much deserved vacation after rescuing Princess Peach for the 84th time and just wants to relax before his next rescue which will inevitably happen. However, he made a wrong turn on the way home and ended up in the Muncher Kingdom instead of the Mushroom Kingdom. Help Mario trek through this adventure! (But player 2 should try and kill Mario).

I'm not sure when this will be done. I can't imagine too much longer (but don't hold me on that.)

This game features a wide variety of level styles such as:

Jungles -

Underwater -

Sky -

Snowy Line Guides -

Castle & Dungeon -

Wow, I thought I'd never see you make another SMW hack, and here you are!
The screenshots look nice. You still have some great ideas. I don't have that much to say, but I can say something, right?

This is most definitely just me, but I think that circle is a little too small, which may cause frustration for the player.
The Happy Wheels boss made me chuckle, I do admit #fim{:D}

Of course you can say something :P - The circle was actually upscaled, it was smaller than that before :S. In the level itself it's not too bad to play with though actually, a screenshot doesn't really capture the game play element.

The pictures do look great! I'm loving the aspect of this hack a lot. The dark level looks fun/frustrating. I will give this hack a try when this is released (also the first installment). Keep up the great work!

Well, that was unexpected..
I love how these looks! I sure will play this hack when it is released. I hope that the dark level doesn't have too many hurt objects/enemies.

Uh, this may be just me but, this level looks really eye tiring.
I find the concept pretty interesting, and those screens sure look appealing. The only one that bothers me a little is this one:

Is it me, or this realistic BG is clashing with the cartoonish FG? At this point why to not use a NSMB FG?
Besides this, nice job so far.

I know right? I haven't put this much effort into a hack since MGU2 (Almost 3 years ago). I guess I wanted to test the new LM limitations. Needless to say it's nice that I still know how everything works.

The difficulty of the levels here seems to make it pretty challenging in my opinion. This would be quite interesting as I enjoyed playing the first installment. It seems that this hack will turn out to be good as I can see a lot of effort put into it.
