While I am trying to keep this away from the traditional Mario type games, I don't want to go and make this completely Sonic styled either despite the fact that it seems to lean that way. I want this to be something new that Both Mario and Sonic farns can both enjoy and get some new elements and ideas in here that haven't been overdone millions of times in other hacks. ;)

I always like seeing the 32x32 patch been used. It can really let people go out there with what they want the player to be, in this case it's Lightvayne! ^.^

Level design seems pretty varied with all the blocks that are in play. I've only played Sonic 1-3/CD so this should feel like a pretty good experience if it has some inspiration from those games. Nice work!

Does the plot have anything to do with random acts of violence against DP? :)

It's looking great! To spice it up a bit, I would suggest a time travel plot, a "dark" version of LV for extra emotional intrigue, three different stories, mach speed levels, more train levels, a dystopia future, robots, and an evil thing taking over the world.
Oh my, I look forward to seeing this done, did you change the physics as well?

I love how you're connecting this to the Paper Mario forum game. It's kinda bizarre seeing two games of different media be in a sort of series.
Kinda in hibernation for a while. I hope to be back in full swing soon.

Yeah, I have to say, while it didn't inspire me to do this, it did motivate me to finally get the ball rolling on it.

I enjoy the idea of playing as a new character with ultimate power and the elngths to make sure that this isn't a normal Mario game. I know editing animation for Mario is a pain in the butt, so good for on that regard! I'm also glad to see those monitor block having a chance to shine in a real hack for once.

My only issue is with the foreground graphics, as they don't look too polished.

Can't wait for the 4 different story mode options.
I wonder what a HFD opcode would do in ASM...
