CHAPTER 42:
DARK LEAGUE ROUND 2 Part 1
RAYGEN'S FULL GOALS
Ok... you must know the drill by now. Either Dweyn makes one of his weird moves, or the Dark League attacks in order to lure the Drawing Forces into a fight. This time it will be the later.
However, there's something special about that this time around. Since the beggining of the Dark League and the Drawing Forces rivalry, there's been a bit of symphaty from the Drawing Forces towards the organization of villians. Raygen surely is one interesting foe. Never he uses unfair advantages, and when the time is not the best one, he preffers to return until a better time. For instance, the Dark League once lured them to fight in the plains. However, just before they would begin, clones of Dweyn entered the struggle. Instead of using the confusion on their advantage, the League decided to leave the matter on their hands and leave. So yeah, the Dark League shows some space of changing towards somehting else, or that's what most of the Drawing Forces members think.
Things aren't running smoothly against Dweyn, even when the powers are evenly matched. And all boils to the fact that Dweyn is a cheater. He would bring some monters along now, and this puts the balance on his favor sometimes. Thanks to the Youth Squadron's mission, what has kept the things still somewhat even is that they are not fighting originals vs clones, but others altogether, confusing the Dark Drawing Forces. But the part that is not even, there could be a way to turn it in favor. And that's where the Dark League enters. If they could come into some kind of truce, or even temporal (if it's permanent, MUCH better) alliance, thing would be good.
Ok, back to the main act. Dark League calls them out, and some of the Drawing Forces are sent to deal with them. These being the whole Skye team, plus Cid, Jack, Baxter and Hazumi. Once they appeared at the place (being a desert), they where greeted by Raygen and his henchemen. "Greeting, Drawing Forces. I'm glad you accepted once more to meet us. As always, expect a fair match. But don't expect us forgiving your lifes once you lose. And have in mind this: once you DO fall, we shall take what it belongs to us. Now, engage!!" said Raygen, reading his blades. The other henchemen also prepared, as well as the Shadow Acolytes there (which weren't all that much). However, neither of the Drawing Forces stanced for fight. This was found weird by the Dark League. "Is there a problem?" asked Raygen. "Yes. We... think we shouldn't struggle anymore. There's no point in that considering how you are, and how you act. Why do you have to be against us? We even think you are in part correct with your goals. We are ready to help you. We just want in exchange your help in this crisis we are at now. I'm sure we can all succed if you help. So... could you consider it?" said Cid, taking off his beret to show how true he was. "Sorry, but there's no way we will aid you. We are enemies forever, because we are villians" answered Fraint. The others agreed (Even Mutiko). "Oh come on!! WHy are you so stubborn with that?! Sometimes we don't even think you are a villian. And what you want, in the end, is something good. Why you keep doing this?" exclaimed Jack.
Raygen scratches his head and seemed a buit uncomfortable. "Look people. If Raygen doesn't want to tell, he won't. You don't need to know, just bare with the actions. Of course, you can always surrender and avoid the bloodshed" said Leena. Raygen moves his hand. "I will speak about that people" he said. Leena stepped back. Raygen began his explanation:
"It's true that in the end, you could say our goals are of good matter. For always, we villians have been disrispected for the fact of what we are. Maybe in the world where who made us live, the things we do are completly wrong, and should be punished. Here, however, rules should be different. We are needed in this world one way or another. But no one understands that. My goals since I was instructed by my great master where to change that, to seize it. But in order to do so, he instructed me in not only seize it, but to always respect what was already in place. Never to unrespect the enemy, always fighting fair. If it was not taken like that, then there was no point in doing it. The Creations will say it was a cheap way of doing it, and the respect would not be achieved. Howeer, there was a line that shouldn't be crossed, and it was the line of not being a villian. If I crossed that line, then the point wouldn't be valid. I would be fighting for what is laready in place. It's incredibly hard not to cross the lines with what I was thought, but it can be done. That's the way the Dark League works. I had the problem of last time, and I will not let it happen again. This time... I'm making sure my companions have merits for this, that can be shown what this organization intends. We can't aid you at all, but we can let you pass. We are going to be succesful, don't think I will not believe that. And we will be what we really are always: villians.
Everyone was surprised ny these words, specially Mutiko, since she felt she wasn't really apreciated there. "I'm so sorry to hear that. We really hoped you would help us. But more importantly, I'm sorry that you are not intending to change. Because we aren't changing either. We will still fight for good, and we will always be there to stop you" said Cid, supported by all of the Drawing Forces. "And I do hope you keep it like that. So come at us, Drawing Forces. Let's see who's goals have more merit in the end" said Raygen, again stancing to fight. The Drawing Forces did so as well.
