Techokami's Level Workshop (UPDATED: 09/21/2015)

Yep, I got Super Mario Maker, and with it, I've made a bunch of levels. Check 'em out, and give stars so that I can make more!

Original and Experimental Stages
These levels are new creations, usually as the result of me messing around with what Super Mario Maker provides.

Castle Chaos Sprint! [C16D-0000-0017-79F0]

This stage was the result of me messing with autoscroll speeds. Very short, but slightly tricky.

Super Lakitu Trouble [54AC-0000-001B-558C]

I was messing around with enemies, mainly Lakitu. Don't rush it, there's a secret zone with a very helpful item.

Red Hot Fire Fort [7299-0000-003F-72A2]

More messing with enemies, this time it's mainly fire-based enemies in a New Super Mario Bros. U theme. The screenshot is a clue to making this level easier.

Life Has Many Doors, Ed Boy! [2479-0000-0043-D7E1]

Yes, I totally did use one of Rolf's more famous quotes for the title of this stage, and it is very appropriate for a ghost house! Pick the correct door to move on properly. Pick the wrong door and... welp;

To The Caves! [31CA-0000-004B-DADB]

An experimental stage that I polished up to be more interesting. Not very difficult, features weird things. I totally agree with the giant pipe Muncher, by the way.

Super Mario's Island Hopping Adventure
Hey, remember that hack I was working on many years ago? Well it's pretty much on ice because I fell behind the times and can't use any of the awesome new tools and sprites with it. I'd have to start over to do what I want to do, and uh... effort. BUT HEY HERE'S SOME REMIXED STAGES FROM IT

1-1 Remix (SMIHA) [9DD3-0000-0042-8AAE]

A remixed version of World 1-1. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as not having slopes, and the max length of a level.

1-3 Pirahna Forest Remix (SMIHA) [4179-0000-0042-B658]

A remixed version of World 1-3. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as the lack of placeable water tiles and the lack of on/off switch blocks, as well as not having a forest tileset.

1-Castle Remix (SMIHA) [DBA8-0000-0043-1723]

A remixed version of World 1-Castle. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as the inability to create lava tides, as well as a hard limit on usable tiles. Can you find all 5 special coins?

3-Castle Remix (SMIHA) [C352-0000-0042-CD85]

A remixed version of World 3-Castle. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as not having Ball & Chain (used Fire Bars instead) or being able to mix the Castle and Overworld themes. Also, this level was never released in any public demos of the hack...

P-Switch Panic (SMIHA) [9209-0000-0059-08CA]

A remixed version of a Switch Palace. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as the inability to have coins immune to the effect of a P-Switch, the lack of Silver P-Switches, and a shorter P-Switch time limit. Also, this level was never released in any public demos of the hack...

1-Secret Remix (SMIHA) [8289-0000-0059-3CC0]

A remixed version of World 1-Secret. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as not having Thwimps (seriously, they should be added!), and not being able to have the goal on a subscreen.

Sunken Ruins (SMIHA) [7B48-0000-0059-743D]

A remixed section of World 1-4. This was a long level, so this is only the underwater path. Some liberties were taken with the design based on limitations of Super Mario Maker, such as not being able to have water surfaces, and a lack of Torpedo Ted launchers. Giant Blue Spike Tops work great as a replacement for Urchins, though! Can you collect all 5 special coins?

Lost Levels
These levels are based on unused level layouts from other Super Mario games. They have been remixed to fit within the limitations of Super Mario Maker.

Lost Levels (SMW) [8714-0000-0043-42B0]

Two short unused levels discovered within Super Mario World, remixed into a single stage of regular length. These are the two best known lost levels of the game, though the second half is supposed to autoscroll, but I couldn't get it to play nice with moving platforms.

Lost Cavern (SMW) [7A6B-0000-0043-6854]

An unused cave level found within Super Mario World, remixed for Super Mario Maker. An opening area and a goal area was added. Also I was a stoop and made the level screenshot be the opening area instead of the level itself...

Lakitu Trouble: I can't finish this level, the lakitus swarming around the last step keep me from getting to the flagpole at all. I consistently lose my mushroom to the Shoe Goombas with the Thwomps on top right before hand.

Castle Chaos Sprint: well that was short. I think it was a bit too spammy since there are enough enemies I'll usually take at least one hit in each playthrough.

Red Hot Fire Fort: the dozens of lakitus just seem unnecessary

Life Has Many Doors: you can skip having to follow the boo ring by just jumping out when the hole goes to the right

also, that section with the hammer bros in the clown cars made me rage quit after dying there twice.

Re-read the description. It has a huge hint: "Don't rush it, there's a secret zone with a very helpful item."

I blame the experimental nature of it :V

Again, experimental.

Try keeping the special item from the second set of doors, using the correct door from the fourth set to get a Starman, or try flying below and around them.
