Should be "... by VL-Tone". Apparently the thread titles don't like account-less authors.

While we appear to be on a streak of pointless inconsistencies, here's one I noticed:

Click on it, and you get this:

Click on it again, and you get this:

something is supposed to go here

That is what they call in the coding world "an unintended feature" ;)
Surprised someone even noticed that.
Layout by LDA during C3.
I posted in the Gaming forum about half an hour ago and I saw this. See the muncher on the site banner?

I've posted twice since then, but have been unable to repeat it. Is this a bug or intended to happen randomly?

Munchers are always intentional.

<VilelaBot> New thread by Sixcorby (Tools - ZMZ v1.09 (ZSNES replacement) by ,Alcaro,Medic) - http://smwc.me/t/82489

Looks like the removal log generator doesn't like multiple authors. (Sixcorby edited the thread.)

My Inspiring Quotes on Personal Growth and Change:

"Resolved financial/personal problems equal greater growth!"

"The only constant thing in life is change; nothing is set in stone. The old is replaced with the new. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. When many different problems in your life are resolved (personal, financial, etc.), newfound strength and confidence is gained in the process. Usually, failures, lack of assertiveness, disappointments, incompetence, low self-esteem and lack of self-respect, financial struggles, and setbacks can cause us to change and take action to solve any problem, leading to increased strength and confidence. This you learn from experience.

I have been experiencing this aforementioned newfound strength and confidence myself for the past FOUR to EIGHT years or so, getting stronger with each passing year, learning with each mistake I make and becoming more joyful in the process. Because of this newfound confidence I've acquired over the years, finding my passion is of utmost importance in 2022! You can develop this strength and confidence in yourself as well!"

To whoever's reading this, you are amazing and you are capable of doing equally amazing things. Gather confidence and be yourself! Say goodbye to the old you and welcome the new you! It wants to arise every moment, but you don't let it. Learn from your mistakes and never make that mistake again! Find your passion and live it!"

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.
Um I think your math is off last post was 1 month and 10 days ago is Dec 24th roughly depending on time zones so not 2 months plus 30 days ago is Jan 4th roughly.

I guess they registered their account last February, but didn't actually log in until December?

Why is that whenever I click on some other page (forum/sub-forum), and I go back, it looks like how the page originally displayed?

It's like if the site stopped being PHP.

Originally this was how SMWC behaved.

Then later on caching was disabled so you'd always see an updated page. This happened for a long time now so many got used to it.

Now we're back to the caching of pages which will keep your browser's cache of said page. One pro of this is being able to check back before the site updates (this also helps when one might possibly lose their post by backtracking if I recall).

So yeah, that's what is going on. Simply refresh to see a new page as per usual.

The code box doesn't work with HTML. And it really should work with it, because it is still code & that's what the damn box is for.

Hi.
You're saying you didn't expect it to display HTML?

Code

You can always use &lt; and &gt;

Code
<span class="magic"></span>

It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
I'd wish I'd known that sooner. Thanks, Koopster!

Hi.
There's also the super secret class="filter-nohtml" like so:

Code
<table>
  <tr>
    <td><b>zoink</b></td>
  </tr>
</table>

It has a disadvantage over simply using &lt; and &gt;, though: The HTML is still parsed and validated, so the filter will complain if you don't put in proper HTML.
Good to know! Guess I'll whatever method I remember next time I need to show an HTML code.

Thanks, Kieran!

Hi.
Whenever I click on the last post made (the link with the red arrow) on the General SMW Hacking Help forum, I get sent to a random thread on the Works in Progress forum instead.

Is this happening to anyone else here?
