If you noticed in the video, I placed a few enemies just before the lava fall so by the time you get to it, you can see the enemies walking past it letting you know it can't damage you. Not really sure what other colors, whether darker ot lighter you would suggest.

Thank you, glad to see someone got the reference. Unfortunatly due to the way this contest is being judged, I'm not going to really have a choice but to change it later on as the level name is a dead giveaway.

Despite the name, the SMB reference was related to an old hack I made that Skewer mentioned above.

I haven't applied the PPlant fix yet (which I thought was supposed to be included in the base rom) so the plants where dropped down one tile for the video so it wouldn't show the glitches tiles.
