Ruberjig's decent C3 thread

Finally.

Hm?...What's all this?
Click here to find out and try this almost 2 world demo.

Good luck for those who can find the two hidden score door levels.

In other news, Here is also one spc, and two spc.

Feedback would be very much appreciated.
Impressive screens here! I'll be sure to give this hack a play when I can.
Your SPCs are also nice.
Didn't get to play your demo yet, but by seeing those screenshots, I can tell you've been doing a great job #smw{:TUP:}
How did I not notice your hack? It looks amazing, especially the graphics. The overworld graphics remind me of the VIP 5 maps. I'm gonna try this as soon as I can, good work Ruberjig!
I'm honestly impressed by the level of customization of this hack, even the sound effects are made from scratch! I tried some of the levels and I've got some thoughts about it:

- I think the introduction is a bit too slow, especially for a platform game. This part lasts for about a minute, text scrolls very slowly and is unskippable. Maybe you could make it skippable, or at least speed it up a bit?
- the art style looks lovely (kinda reminds me of Kirby 3!)
- the sword power-up is pretty interesting, but I found it a bit clunky. The boy can't jump while attacking and freezes for a split second after a while. I think this could confuse the player while jumping a cliff or when there are many enemies on screen, especially considering the attack button is also used for running.
- some mechanics are explained after being shown. For instance, being used to Super Mario World mechanics, I wouldn't expect to die by walking through a narrow gap (it also happens if I jump by holding down, which doesn't kill Mario in SMW). This is only explained three screens further, so I couldn't possibly know before it.
- The boy starts one tile higher in Pipeline Parkway if the player enters the level while riding the orange animal.
- Little graphic glitch in Sector Shootoff
- It's possible to walk over the ceiling and falling inside the wall
- I liked the Undertale-styled boss! My only problem with it is that the heart is a bit cumbersome to control, it doesn't move as freely as it should (it sort of gets stuck). Also, it freezes for a while just before taking a hit, which makes everything a tad clunky.

I still have to play the world 2 levels, but I enjoyed it so far and I think it has a great potential. Keep up the good work!
I was about to try the levels but I got addicted to that pinball game. It's 10/10.
i've been gone for a week, and took in the reports/reviews from posts in this thread. More would be nice if possible. How's this hack been so far?

e: epic misspell
Wow, these screenshots look pretty interesting! Probably gonna give it a try when I get back home - the OW and forest level especially look good #ab{;)}

The handomest people in the world are ones who follow my Twitch
So I decided to play a demo
The graphics are amazing and I love them
The jump sound is actually super annoying

So if I get this item I'm just trapped with no choice but to die?

What do I do if I'm big here?

The pink bouncy things blink when I bounce on them

I died when I tried to exit the thing with the slots

I'm ready to say the amount of times I was trapped because I was big is stupid
sorry bout that. i fixed alot of stuff since this demo release.
