there are little bugs on the tool, for example if you activate the button show flipped frame and then you try to draw a collision box, the collision box is drawing on the flipped position,they are stupids and little bugs.

The video tutorial will be speaked on spanish with subs on english, on the tutorial i will make a couple of sprites using the tool and i will explain how to use the some rams that use the tool, also i will show how to make basic stuff with sprites for people who knows a little of ASM.

i deleted all of my posts and i prefer to cause chaos in other threads,not in a revolucionary thread of an revolucionary tool that in future will transfrom me in what i most want to be:A Spriter.
in 2 weeks i will upload a new version of dyzen:

Next version will have:

-Compatibility with the latest version of dynamic Z.
-Fire ball interaction.
-better flip system.
-a lot of frames would use the same hit box.
-Allows you to make clusters.
-Semi Dynamic and Giant Dynamic System.
-several bug fixes.

And Maybe Object interaction.

Sorry for bumping the thread, but it's because of the Dynamic Z 3.15 was accepted and i should mention that Dynamic Z and Dyzen are connected.
Am i right?

And also, what the author will make for the next version of Dyzen now that the Dynamic Z was accepted?

I talked about that on the last reply of Dynamic Z, I will try to release Dyzen V3.0 this month, but is not sure because i have very few time. V3.0 will be the same of V2.5 but compatible with Dynamic Z V3.15. The next version of this tool will be submitted to Tools section.

I am remaking all the tool. The next version is near it will include the follow:

-You can make the graphic routine of a normal sprite, cluster sprite or dynamic sprite of 32x32 (or less), 48x48 (or less), 64x64 (or less) or 80x80 (or less).

-You can make interaction routine with mario or fireballs of any sprite.

-Hotkeys to make all fast.

-Copy and Paste.

-Smart tile Selection.

-Allows a graphic routine that can use tiles of 8x8 or 16x16.

-Improved ui interface.

I will release a beta of this new version probably the next week, i really want beta testers to find bugs.

This is not a really big version, the BIG Version will be on the next c3 or maybe after the next c3.

The tool have the following Modules:

-Frame Module: Where you can make frames of your sprite.
-Animation Module: Where you can make animations of your sprite.
-Asm Codes: All codes that will be used by the sprite.
-Interaction Module: Where youcan make all interaction of the sprite (interaction with mario, fireballs or objects).
-Logic Module: Where you can make the logic of the sprite (It wont be available in this version).

For this first demo i only made the frame module and only for normal sprites and a mockup of the animation module. Here you can test it:

I was out of hacking for a long time because university, but after august i will return to my stuffs, the first thing that i will do is finish and upload first official version of dyzen for SMWC. This version will allows:

-Creation of frames and animations for normal sprites.
-Creation of hitboxes for each frame of a normal sprite.

Also i will include a tutorial to use all the stuffs.

I dont have an official date to release but i want to do it during the next semester.

After release of the first official version i will try to upload upgrades constantly up to have a complete Sprite IDE.

Also i will try to submit some resources for Dynamic Z during the next semester, like specials uber asm patches or semi-dynamic/dynamic sprites.

For now, only works to do frames, If someone can test it and give me feedback could be great. Require .Net.

Next step is do the animation module and the interaction module. As last thing i'll do the logic module.

This includes:


Frames Module:

- You can load a palette of colors.
- You can load a GFX on SP1, SP2, SP3 and SP4.
- You can create, select, delete, rename, sort and view info of frames.
- You can select tiles of 8x8 or 16x16 from GFX and add them to the current frame using "right click" into the grid.
- You can select tiles from the grid and delete them using "Del" key.
- You can select tiles from the grid and mirror or move them with the buttons over the grid (move can be done using keys "WASD").
- You can change the zoom and the cell size of the grid.
- You can change the center of the grid (used for flip), using the track bars.

Animation Module:

- You can create, select and delete animations.
- You can select if the current animation plays only once or continuous.
- You can select frames from the right zone and add to the animation using the below zone using button "+". To select more than one frame at a time, hold the "Ctrl" key.
- You can delete a frame of the animation using button "-".
- You can exchange 2 frames using button "<- ->".
- You can play the animation using button "|>".
- You can stop the animation using button "□".
- You can pause the animation using button "||".
- You can change the current frame using "<-" or "->".
- You can change the zoom of the animation.
- You can change the player speed.

Please give me feedback or report bugs to make the tool better.
