The ASM Requests Thread

Cool. I'll test it out and see if I can't find any bugs. Thanks!!!
I want make a request for an ASM that enable powerup change by pressing R or L (take the feather or the flower) and don't lose the power by damage.always have the flower an feather a patch that need apply Hp patch
Thinking... Probably I go move my project to a game in Game Maker Studio.
I can take this request, it's not to hard .
But I got confused by a thing:
1- To activate you need to have flower and cape, or only one of them?
2- If you press L or R it will change to the other powerup or to only one? (cape to flower or flower to cape, or only cape or only flower)
3- Do the patch need to apply HP or you can add another patch that applies hp instead?

One day I'll make a layout...
at least doesn't look like

Because I'm not very experienced with HP and that stuff, so you could add a HP patch to work alongside with this powerup one

R: Don't need take a power. Since the begin of game you can change to flower or cape anytime (like a inventory that can change the weapon).

R: Cape to flower or flower to cape.

R: Don't need make HP patch in this ASM. I will use the Metroid HP patch.

Definitely supporting this one. That's the exact thing the game lacked regarding the triangle blocks gimmick.
However, making Mario run upside-down via a block's code would be extremely difficult, if not impossible. But it would be relatively easy with UberASMTool. To anyone who want to fulfill this request, you might consider this.
Sorry if I got it wrong, Knight, it's just a suggestion.

Thanks for your support (you too, Mariofan64)...just wondering though, but was this request overlooked in the current request list, Vitor Vilela? I was thinking of requesting another thing, but I wish to wait until I hear if this was overlooked or not.
On a side note, is it possible for any request here to be overlooked, even if there is some support for it?
I don't think it was 'overlooked' the list is just extremly outdated. The last time it was updated was almost 5 months ago and there've been a lot of requests since then that aren't in that list yet.
Request Name: Boo Blah
Type: Sprite
Resources: Boo Blah.zip
Description: The silly looking ghost that hangs from the ceiling and also moves along the floor. It reaches down (or up) to hurt the player. First appearance is from SMW2: Yoshi's Island. Here's a video that shows fairly well their behavior and how they animate. IMO this is a very overdue sprite. Should by default only be able to kill it with star power (it'll disappear in a puff of smoke and yes, I realize I just said kill a ghost). Assemble it in a GFX file however you see fit. There's a few 16x16 (and possibly 8x8) tiles that are duplicates. It's mostly a 24x48 "space" sprite with a few exceptions. If you can't make the property of jumping on and bouncing off of the floor Boo Blah work for one reason or another, you can ditch that part.
Edit: Also doesn't "walk" off ledges or go up/down slopes. Just in case I need to specify that.

Layout by RanAS, modified by yours truly.
Smb2 usa status bar not advanced, but snes/nes version.
layer version would best, but sprite is ok too.

Two stuff I made:
Disable screen barrier:
Even better center scroll patch:
Two old ones exist, but the new one: “CenterScrollAdvanced_NonInstant.asm” does not scroll instantly; therefore, making mario teleport by messing around with $94 and $96, you can create teleporters without graphical glitches (but the solid edges of the screen still apply, so I recommend combining these patches).

Give thanks to RPG hacker for working on Asar.

Request: Flashing Sprite
Type: Sprite
Description: It's something easy actually- it should be a sprite that suddenly starts flashing (sort of like ON and OFF) if Mario is real close to it, it should be an unkillable, sort of an NPC sprite. Should be 32 x 32 if possible.
Thanks in advance.

If it doesn't do anything more than that, claimed. PM me the details/graphics/whatever.
Name: 999 Lives Counter
Type: Patch
Short description: A patch that enables a 999 life counter like the one in Yoshi's Island or Super Mario Advance 4: SMB3.
Long description: Same as above, but it should be fully compatible with GreenHammerBro's disable score patch and Ladida's SMA2: SMW overworld menu thingy, okay? Also, SA-1 compatibility because when I go to Show Waiting Patches, I want to use it in my SA-1 hack.
Pleeeeeeeease don't ignore this just like you ignored my Iggy Boss request (which is on page 15 of this thread). Take your time.

Request: Save Block
Type: Block
Description: A block that when you press down, you save your current progress in the level. If you exit your emulator and return to the game, it loads where you last saved. Must use with the SRAM patch.
