ing awful when it comes to procrastinating. No idea why, but I can't whenever I try do anything "creative" I quickly get bored and go back to video games/listening to music/the internet and never return. Hell, it's basicly a cycle at this point:

Realise you've never completed a ROM Hack or VLDC level -> Start working -> Lose interest near the start -> Take a "break" -> Forget about the whole thing -> GOTO 10

Even worse is sometimes I do it college too, although it's not as bad since currently I'm up date with all my work (although my "classmates" are sometimes so distracting I can't work anyways).

I've got a complete lack of motivation whenever I have to do something even slightly productive. School, household. You call it. But since this ain't reality corner I won't go into detail.

Procrastination is my one trait to ditch sometime in the future

I should stop leaving things to do at the last minute. I always pressure myself to actually do them as earlier as I can, but it sometimes doesn't succeed. Especially if I have something really important for university, cause I end up rushing as a result. Maybe I should keep my mind less focused on random shit and more focused on important matters...

Honestly, I think we all do it, except for maybe the most "elite" and disciplined people. Thinking of executives or people in other high positions. You know, basically the people who really can't afford to be slacking off or who are so focussed on their carrier they're putting everything into it. Besides that, I think procrastinating is perfectly normal and not unhealthy. If anything, it's probably just a mechanism by the brain to prevent us form using more energy than necessary.

For something completely different: while playing Grandia II, I've just encountered this monstrosity. This glitch always appears while casting a certain spell for just the fraction of a second. At first I was like "was that a beard?". Only taking a screenshot let me take a good look at it. If I had to guess, I'd say that they somehow messed up sorting the character's triangles correctly, which is something you have to do when doing alpha blending (which they did here to fade the character out). Basically, you have to sort triangles back to forth, otherwise you get weird stuff like that. Parts of the hair were probably rendered after the face, causing this appearance.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!

At first I didn't even notice the face was all weird so I was thinking "What's so weird?" but then I noticed the person there has hair covering most of their face. Funny how those things happen.

Well...
Same here.
Really, it's so hard to stop it.
I wonder if there's some way to solve it.

The only way I can is by start working on something, but even then, sometimes it doesn't work because I'm out of ideas or energy or something.

It sucks.

I procrastinate because it feels easier to work under pressure and less time. Also homework is boring.
is doing a port and reading up on Wakana's music tooteral while watching Uncle Jobel procrastinating?

if it is, then HOO BOY am I doing it lol

The worst about procrastinating part is when you try to stop procrastinating, your subconscious just hijacks you and before you realize it, you've procrastinated for three more hours.
*everything stops*
Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation...

I dunno why people hate procrastinating so much, I'm perfectly fine with it personally. I also prefer calling it perfect time management instead because if I do it last minute isn't that basically me being able to tell how long it's gonna take me to get it done? I'd say that's a talent if anything.

Well, not for me.
It can be feel really bad for me under pressure and unable to do anything so properly.
And rushing things is not something I can do and deliver quality (well, deliver my best I guess could say).

But you're talking about homework, and my procrastinations are from when I'm doing personal things like SMW stuff and other hobbies.
So it's totally different too.

Easy in theory for me personally. Depending on the work, it can result in something without any effort at all.

Oh yeah, sorry if I'm interrupting the conversation, but is there anyone here that can whistle/sing in higher/lower notes without getting tired AND without training? I always could whistle pretty damn well (heck, even do pitch bends/portamentos perfectly), but I never really could get on a higher or a lower note note without ruining everything. I'm really curious if anyone can pull that off perfectly like that tbh. lol

Procrastination is the one thing I hate about myself.

what's the difference between a jeweler and a dealer

one sells watches and one watches sales

thanks dragon ball z for giving me material
procrastination is something i really dislike about myself because i like working on stuff and once I do I'm really productive. It's just that I can't actually put myself to do that thing, which is partly related to depression, and partly related to this weird block that I have when I don't want to give something my fullest.
Someday I'll stop procrastinating.

...Someday...

...Maybe tomorrow...

Wait, was that even funny? It was meant to be.

I don't really care about procrastinating because I tend to get shit done if I really have to. It doesn't matter how much you procrastinate as long as you get your things done in time, does it? Some people seem to really hate this about me, though.

If you call that fun you should go have it elsewhere 👏

Also yeah, I also get things done when I have to, but it's when you want to get things done mostly for yourself (i.e. making levels or progress in music production on my end) that it becomes an issue.

Also it's pretty frustrating to have a creative mind but not as great creative execution skills. If this makes any sense at all
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
